Unfortunately, my experience at this apartment complex has been less than satisfactory due to the lack of air conditioning for several months. Despite multiple attempts to address this issue with management, it has not been resolved, significantly impacting the comfort of my living situation. I would urge potential renters to consider this and inquire about the maintenance responsiveness before making a decision. There's also a constant leak from the main bathrooms shower that hasn't been fixed despite reports, and the water doesn’t stay hot for long, which is really inconvenient. I am sweating at this moment writing this review!! I am planning to consult with a lawyer about a lawsuit soon.
Now that it’s under new management; absolutely wonderful. Any issue we have is 9 times out of 10 resolved within the week. Only major issue we’ve had since new management is the link to renew our lease wasn’t working for months, went down and talked to them and it still wasn’t sending right until our lease was up THEN it started working and was charged a fee for it being late. Any other qualms we have isn’t really on management. The apartments are old; built sometime in the 60s I think and it’s been given the “landlord special” lord knows know many times. Layers and layers and LAYERS of paint on walls and countertop paint that chips, rubs off, and stains with any wear. Which again is NOT on management since they can’t just go in and redo an entire apartment while people are actively living there. Area is pretty okay too, we haven’t really had any issues regarding violence, vandalism, or any other unsavory activities save a few crazy neighbors every once in a while. If you’re looking for somewhere moderately cheap that gets the job done, I highly suggest applying as I do with most of my friends looking to move.
Let me start off by saying Taylor is great. That’s the only thing I can say that good about my experience here. I moved in under the impression my central heat and air was in working condition. The AC doesn’t work. I was told that corporate will not do anything about this until we have hot consecutive days. They gave me 1 window unit for this apartment. Granted it is not a very big apartment. So when it was still cool outside wasn’t a big deal. My electricity bill WAS a decent price for this apartment size. Now since it’s been hot I have been having to run the 1 little unit plus a whole bunch of fans. My bill has gone from a little over $100 to well OVER $300. I have only been here a couple months, but I pay my rent on time if not before. There’s a constant drip in my main bathroom tub. Because of this it grows pink mildew. In the master bathroom the toilet looks very unsanitary. It’s sad I pay for 2 bathrooms and can’t use the shower in one and can’t use the toilet in the other. All of this is very unhealthy. I have an asthmatic son. I don’t think it’s too much to ask to get my stuff fixed or at least find a couple more window units to accommodate the heat. I don’t understand why corporate feels it’s ok to let a tenant suffer under these conditions. I have asked for a number and an email to speak with corporate about this a little over a month ago and was denied and just told they won’t ok fixing my AC until it’s hot. We have to eat out often cause it’s too hot to cook. For as small as this apartment is it makes absolutely no sense for me to be paying over $300 for 1 month on my electric, because corporate won’t ok getting my unit fixed. I know they won’t reimburse it and I know they most definitely won’t reimburse. The hospital bills I will be having to pay fr rushing my son to the E.R cause of the conditions of this apartment. I have been patient but this beyond ridiculous. I don’t think I’m asking too much and it’s really sad I have to post this on a review
Taylor is very knowledgeable and is willing to go the extra mile to make sure that your experience with them is exceptional. Very courteous and polite. No wonder they are always full . Newport Granada should be very grateful to have her on staff.
The apartments are gross, maintenance sucks, bugs everywhere, people on drugs scream all night and security/managment do nothing. When I moved out they charged me for stuff I did not do and when I contacted TAYLOR in the office she was very very unprofessional, assumed I was another tenant, and proceeded to call me nasty and dirty and then when I tried to tell her I never owned a dog and she got the apartment mixed up she hung up on me :. Same yourself time and money and find somewhere else. Yes the price is good but it’s not worth your health, sleep, or sanity.
The 3405 buildings have NO dumpsters for a month now . 4 across the street for 240+ Units. NO TRASH SERVICE AT MY BUILDING since Feb, the service TOOK THE DUMPSTER, why? My service is INCLUDED IN THE RENT! This is not a management problem she's good, it's a corporate problem!
Was a great apartment at 1st decided not to pay rent until problem was solved but no they didn't fixed anything made it a health problem where now I still fighting to stay breathing!!
I recently had the pleasure of staying in an apartment that was an absolute gem for its value. This was truly a great find and exceeded all of my expectations. One of the best features of this apartment complex was the friendly and responsive maintenance staff and apartment manager. They were always available to answer any questions or concerns and their professionalism and kindness was greatly appreciated. The apartment itself was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the quality of the fixtures and the attention to detail that had gone into the renovations of the space. The living area was spacious and bright, and the bedrooms were comfortable and well-appointed. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the appliances you could possibly need. One of the things that made this apartment so special was the swimming area offered. It was nice because for such an affordable place the pool was so nice and well maintained. The location of this apartment was also ideal. It is situated right by Hefner Parkway and in walking distance to Winco! Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a great value in their living space. The friendly staff, beautiful apartment, and the location made for an unforgettable experience that truly exceeded all expectations.
The apartment complex is small enough to make it easy to know your neighbor. The manager does her utmost to address all issues. Maintenance tries to assist with all things. The work orders are done in a timely manner. The section I live is fairly quiet and peaceful. The neighbors are generally friendly and social. I've had one issue since I lived on property which what porch pirates. This was addressed by manager very quickly. I've had no further issues since. It would be a good place to live. Being close to a supermarket is very helpful.
I just moved here a month or so ago, but it has been a pleasant experience so far. The property manager was so nice and helpful during the application and move in process. The property seems to be well taken care of as far as keeping it clean and everything.
