Decent gym in the area. ~ $100 per month but slightly cheaper if you take the annual option. Dedicated cardio, weights, swimming, spinning, sauna and change rooms. Provide towel service too. Never tried the personal trainer, but they also have group fitness class like yoga, swimming, spinning, bollydance, HIIT etc.
Gets the job done, staff is nice, bathrooms are pretty good and they have a steam room and sauna. Cardio room is great, but the weight room could be a little nicer and people leave weights all over the place. No hidden fees unlike club metro so it's worth it if you live in Newport.
No real issues with gym however they need to enforce/announce the DROPPING AND RERACKING of weights lazy customers. Staff can be more welcoming. Place needs to be fumigated occasionally. It’s a little expensive but for me, convenient.
Convenient recreational place for Newport residents with all advanced gym facilities and dedicated Swimming pool. They have various classes including HIIT, PiYo, Bollywood dance, Zumba, Spin class etc. in the morning and evening. Separate shower rooms for men and women that have lockers to keep your stuff.
All Desi's they will constantly be rude to you, several times I saw them being rude to Desi's and I canceled my membership. Especially some Italian lady with black hair she was exceptionally rude to few desi couples several times. Stay away from this gym
Going here for past 3 years now. No Complaints so far. Its pricey but everything speaks for the price they as for. Good sized pool and nice daily cardio sessions
Read carefully if you want to swim here as a solo swimmer not in pairs. They sacrifice existing members’ comforts to attract new members. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 4 or even 5 STARS, BUT since they updated their swimming pool policy that THEY NOW ALLOW 2 PERSONS PER SWIMMING LANE lane 2,3,4, I WOULD GIVE ZERO STAR IF I COULD. Note that there are 5 lanes, where lane 1 and lane 5 are supposedly for beginners I think. So, lane 2-4 are more suitable if you want to swim fast. However, lane 2,3,4 are rather NARROWLY built. There’s no way I can imagine two solo swimmers can fit perfectly well in one lane. When I swim, my ankles can sometimes even touch the lane borders. Imagine if there are 2 PERSONS in the lanes and how possibly they could swim comfortably. Also, the hot tub now allows 2 persons simultaneously as well the previous policy only allowed 1 person in the hot tub per appointment. If you don’t know your fellow “hot tub sharer”, especially in the current pandemic, would you risk your health using it? All in all, I would NEVER recommend if you are a solo swimmer and want to swim here.
Group Zumba classes are super bad. They charge a crazy mount of money but never want to keep up the quality and experience they owe to us.
Good gym with a lot of equipment, not too crowded, classes included in the membership and also has an indoor heated swimming pool
