In addition, they didn't understand the rules involved with Toronto Land Transfer taxes and we were told our total taxes would be $5000 less than they actually were. The came back to us on the date of closing and told us we needed to pay another $5000 to close the deal. I would NOT recommend and would suggest that you find a law group that actually knows the law. They were convenient yes, but much to expensive for the services offered.

I was having the most difficult time closing my mortgage for a variety of reasons. So many things went wrong. The saving grace was Jessica at Vanguard. She let me vent and had my back every step of the way. She was so kind and calm and reassuring. I've used Vanguard before and liked them - but this time they went above and beyond!!!!
