Gluten Free Score: 0/5 but who cares! Nic’s is unapologetically simple. They do one thing and do it better than anyone. This is an incredible local burger joint. The seating is extremely limited (16 seats total) so if you arrive after 10:45, expect a wait, but it’s well worth it! They make the burgers fresh right in front of you, the options are simple, Everything Burger, Everything Burger with Cheese, or the daily special (today it was chicken fried steak). The French fries are absolutely fantastic curly fries that are perfectly thin and crispy. They use shredded lettuce on the burgers and have the usual add-on offerings (mushrooms, bacon, etc). This is a great place to bring tourists or family from out of town.

One of the best burgers I've ever had! Although we had to wait about 20-30 minutes to get seated, since there were only 15 seats inside, it was worth the wait! Everything is made fresh right in front of you, including the curly fries and burgers. My family and I will definitely come back in the future!

Great spot for burgers! One of the best in the country, be ready for a long wait! Definitely worth it... Nic is super friendly and talented on the grill! This place is cash only and their combos cost about 12/13 dollars per person... The daily specials are interesting, you should try the fried steak with mashed potatoes. The restaurant has a limited capacity, so this is not a great spot for groups. They also accept orders to go.

Not a bad spot..... If you're willing to wait a LONG TIME. Their diner holds around 14 spots TOTAL. If you go, there will be a line without question. The food is All fresh made right in front of you. Menu is simple: Burgers, Fries, and Drinks. But know, this is not a spot that you go to during a busy business day for a quick bite. Every day (except Saturday), they're only open till 2pm. You've been warned!

After being in the car 3 hours, we decided to drive an extra 15 miles out of our way to Nic's based on all the good reviews. Big mistake. We were tired of sitting, beyond hungry and ready to eat. We sat in this restaurant for an over an HOUR to wait on three hamburgers. When we finally received our order, one burger was not well-done (as specified) and the others were below sub-par. We were told the regular cook was out sick and the "big" group that had come in had put them way behind. The tables weren't even all full as we were immediately seated. We did get the 25% off (gee, thanks). We didn't even hardly eat our food. Needless to say, we left upset and hungry...drove to Chick-fil-A.
