This was the first time we had tried this location. The food was quite good. I was going to have the fish n chips but they use catfish in place of haddock or cod. I had a BLTA and it was very good. The waitress we had seemed to have too many tables and so the service was a bit slow.

Went there tonight only to find out they changed the menu and barely carry German dishes. We waited over 30 min for fountain drinks and my husband didn't even get the beer he ordered. Plus the waiter never came back to take our dinner order. They had one poor kid running around as a host, waiter, and food runner. Keep in mind when we were seated we were one of 4 tables that were currently occupied. After realizing the waiter wasn't coming back anytime soon to take our order; we called it quits and took our business elsewhere. I don't understand how you run a business during the Saturday dinner rush with one staff member working the tables. My family definitely won't be going back and it's sad because we did enjoy it when it was a German restaurant.

Fantastic craft beer selection! Delicious food and what a menu! Such variety..potato pancakes, calamari, jerk chicken sandwich were all great. Black beans didn't have much flavor but seasoned rice was great. Looking forward to returning and having another flight or two!

I have been visiting Nik's Wunderbar for a couple of years. We enjoy the beer variety, and always get the beer flight to try new brews. The new seafood menu is great. We had the crab boil, deep fried combo, grilled fish, and they are all well prepared. The menu also kept my favorites, the sausage platter and the smoked pork chops - both excellent with beers. I like that the restaurant is laid back, just good food and good beer.

Horrible food! If I could give it less than 1 star I would - we used to go here regularly, but the food has changed for the worse. The chicken schnitzel was overcooked to the point of not being able to be cut, the gravy was brown WATER - even the manager admitted it was "off". They got rid of some of the traditional staples - no spaetzel, no latkes, cooked apples, and changed what they did have. Charged us the whole amount for food we sent back. The manager was completely unsympathetic despite admitting the food wasn't what it should be. I've been a waitress/worked in food service, no wonder it was empty.
