Was recommended this place from a co-worker. Ive been traveling for work and this has become a regular spot every week I am in New Brunswick. The bartanders here are the staple of this place. Any day of the week the drinks and food and more than great. I would recommend the hot wings and famous ale house burger! If you are in town this place needs to be something you visit on the regular.

Usually go for the Sunday mimosa bottomless brunch. Past two times has been very cold in there. A good deal for brunch with liquor but not deliciously amazing.
One of my favorite spots in college and still decent after being 4 years out.

Great boozey brunch, food was very good and hostess/waiter were very nice. Unfortunately, my wife's sister & husband and my wife & I both drove over and hour to meet here to be asked to leave because they wanted to turn over our table for other guests they may be coming. We had ordered multiple pitchers of sangria, other drinks, appetizers, main courses and were planning to spend more time with dessert! The manager came over and asked us to leave! I was astonished, I've never seen a paying customer that wasn't intoxicated be asked to leave a restaurant. It put a disappointing tone over the entire experience.
EDIT 4/29/2018:
After replying to the owner via email as requested, 2 months ago, I never got a response. Way to look like you care about your customers. I've downgraded my rating from 3 stars to 1 star. Real crappy way to save face.

Small-mid size. Bit grungy on busy evenings. They attempt to be fancy by bringing you water in a clear, reusable wine bottle, but pouring 2 glasses revealed it to be *warm* tap-water. It's possible the server grabbed the leftover bottle from previous guests, topped it off with tap water, serving/repeating this process for each new guest. There were fingerprint smudges all over bottle. Avoid the table "bottle" water.
Nice selection of brews on tap and bottles.

I am still in shock over my brunch experience at George Street Ale House about a month ago. While the food (that we were able to eat) was pretty good, we were looking at the dessert menu and just received our second pitcher of sangria among other beverages when the manager came over and basically told us we had to leave.
Unbeknownst to us, our brunch was under a strict time limit…this was not information given to us when we made our reservation for a table over a week in advance. We were told that we had “been at the table for 2 hours and a typical 4 top table takes about 1.5 to 2 hours” followed by him saying they booked their downstairs room for a party and the five tables in the bar area were all they had for all of the (overbooked) reservations that were made (since brunch was popular).
Again, nothing about a time limit was disclosed when they called to confirm our reservation the day before, OR even when we were seated. It was shocking to me not only the way this ‘manager’ addressed an issue (clearly on their end) because he was both unprofessional and rude during the entire interaction.
We had ordered multiple drinks, pitchers, appetizers, and entrees – it wasn’t like we were just sitting not ordering anything and taking up space! After he originally came over and I pointed out we were looking at dessert, he mumbled a comment before coming back a minute later rushing us to see if we made a choice – which we obviously didn’t feeling uncomfortable/forced to go.
Both halves of our party drove just over an hour to meet up, and definitely would’ve picked another restaurant if we knew that we couldn’t enjoy our beverages, food, and catching up! Never in my life have I dealt with such a ridiculous encounter, and obviously I will never return or recommend this place to ANYONE!
