Pilsener Haus & Biergarten

The food was very good. For those enjoying a noisy, jolly evening...it is just exactly that. If one prefers a quieter, more-conducive-to- pleasant-table -conversation...this is not the place. We are visiting from Northern Virginia in the metropolitan DC area, and we found it to be rather pricey. But then, it was the preferred choice for our newly graduated offspring, so that was just fine. But we would probably not return...unless we were once again hosting a family gathering.

Cool beirgarden. Tuesday half price night for cash is a great deal. Food is quite good. The beer selection is solid and the old warehouse vibe is warm and inviting. Good place to meet with larger groups gets very crowded at peak times.

I used to love this place before it was turned into another sports bar. The inside is beautiful, like a 1930s beer hall, but recently they put large large projection screens everywhere. Always on, usually showing sports center or commercials. I miss the old classy days when this was a beer hall. 3 stars for the memories. Hoboken please open a real beer garden!

It's a biergarten, of course it'll be loud!! The food here is good - you have the choice to order off an actual menu, or get food from the grill directly. I highly suggest the Summer Salad - yum. The tables are communal, you will have to share, but that is the fun of it all!

This is not a traditional German beer house. But that being said there are very rare beers that they serve there, and the meets are pretty good. The way they serve the bratwurst, hot dogs, and knockwurst are not traditional. But it is good. The environment is friendly and upbeat.
