Loved this place! I enjoyed the Paprika Schnitzel immensely and some of the sausage my friend ordered. The hostess and manager were extremely friendly when I walked in and seated us quickly. My waitress was very attentive the whole time. The German music was great, I've never been to a place like this! The big projectors were great. I can't rave enough about the beer and food, and it looked to me like the whole staff was having fun, which I always look out for. I've also not been to many places that felt so clean, they must have some kind of super cleaners or something, because everything was spotless and I even touched the underside of the bar and there wasn't any stickiness (It's almost always disgusting at other places). 5/5 I would definitely go back! I'd love to plan a party here!

What a disappointment! Having lived in Germany, I was excited about re-experiencing a very tasty German meal served by German waitstaff. Neither was the case :\. Food ranged from okay to good, and -- when I asked to speak to anyone who was German / had any connection with Germany -- I came up empty* :(. Luckily, it wasn't all bad. First, the good: - Seated quickly - Waitress was friendly and came by often - Cider was dry, strong, and refreshing - Spaetzle was nicely cooked and buttery - Pretzel was huge and tasty And the okay: - Pork cutlet in mushroom sauce. Nice breading, but pork was a little tough/chewy. - Side of beets and potato were fine - Beer cheese, kinda flavorless though - Black Forest cake was moist, not too sweet, but nothing exceptional And the mediocre or worse: - The cheese-spaetzle was AWFUL. Rubbery, dry, completely flavorless. Worse, when I very politely but directly pointed out my disappointment to the waitress, she just sort of smiled and shrugged :(. Won't be coming back. There are so many outstanding, awesome places in NYC .. why waste money and time on okay-to-good? *re why I was seeking to talk with someone German... I wanted to ask about some stuff on the menu and also inquire about where I could buy some German specialty stuff in the city. I'm used to seeing at least Chinese staff at Chinese restaurants, Italians at Italian restaurants... didn't seem too crazy for to hope for at least one German working in a German restaurant :(.

We went to this place for a Burger and a huge beer. Love the ambience and the bar tender was really friendly and made sure we were happy with what we ordered! I'd go back again, I would tell a friend about this place.

Always have a great time at Reichenbach. Can usually find a table and great for groups. Food is pretty good, the pretzel is great. Big beer selection, some wine. Shot skis are available!

Has both great food and beer. It also has an interesting aesthetic with long tables. Nice place to hit up when I am in the area.
