Taphaus

The only reason they even get two stars is because the waitress was nice and the food actually had decent taste. Everything else was subpar. Our 8:30 reservation was basically not honored as we had to wait for a table. When we were finally seated we had to wait over thirty minutes for anyone to come over and get our drink orders. The first three or four beers we tried to order were out so the waitress pulled out a paper with what they did have. The appetizers were pretty good but we had to wait about 45 minutes for entrees after we had finished all our apps. When the entrees were delivered they were missing two and we had to wait five more minutes for the rest. Fries were cold the minute they hit the table. If they were hot they would have been good. Had a burger that was actually very flavorful but barely warm. If they got their kitchen in order in terms of heat and timing it would have been good. I can’t believe Management is so incapable and it’s a shame because it’s in a great location and could be awesome. I’m guessing the views and outside seating keep this place going.

Horrible! horrible! Horrible place. There is nothing called services in this so called restaurant. You need to wait forever for anything you order. They don't have half of the beers listed in the menu and to our surprise (for the first time in my life) they gave us list of available beers in plain paper handwritten. wow... it took more than 1 and half hour for burgers and when we asked the waitress how long would it take for order after getting frustrated with the wait time, she says " I am not the chef, I can't tell how long would it take"..don't know what's the attitude about. And after waiting one and half hour, we ended up having cold burgers and the fries which tasted like from morning... they only had one water bottle, which they kept refilling for a group of 8 people... just imagine ..you need to wait 30 mins just to get water..well the view is good but that gets weighs down by horrible customer service ..I bet drive through burgers and fries are better and much quicker than these guys.. go there if you want to ruin your evening..

Just went there during happy hours. First I got hair in my food. They didn't care and probably served me same food upon complaining. Then I got billed for food at full menu price during happy hours. The manager " chubby guy" didn't even care.

Went for team lunch. "A hidden gem" would be correct words to describe this place. The view from there is amazing. I got the Turkey burger with Cajun fries. The burger was yummy. Unfortunately can't say the same for fries. They were over fried, and were very dry. The ketchup that the came with the fries was not even half of the tiny disposable ketchup container. The service was excellent. Kudos for that.

The place is spacious and has a nice atmosphere. Its located right on the waterfront so the view is fantastic especially at night when the city lights up. The drinks are very good and at a reasonable price and the food is delicious. We have been going to Taphaus so far for the quite dance party that they host almost every month and for the occasional drink and we always have a good time.
