Simple, fresh, local seafood. Generous portion sizes. The seafood isn't overly seasoned (or at all) but that's a good thing here. Try the mashed potatoes! Restaurant is small so plan accordingly.

Disappointing waitress and management customer service. We expressed displeasure in an appetizer. The waitress replied, "It is prepared the way the menu says" and asked if we wanted to take it home in a doggy bag for someone else. The manager responded the same. The manager later came back and said they took it off the bill, but insisted on saying, "You should have read the menu." Then the Wahoo catch of the day was served dry, but I didn't dare criticize it. I just wanted to leave. So much for the customer is always right. Good bartender and Caesar salad. Dave M. We have been coming to the Outer Banks for years and we have had dinner at this restaurant at least 2/3 time when were are in Corolla. This is one of the finest restaurants in the area. A bit pricey, we have never been disappointed. Remember you get what you pay for. The staff has always been OUTSTANDING, and we have never been disappointed in their service. In fact we are on the way to Corolla tomorrow. Guess where the first stop will be. You bet, NORTH BANKS restaurant in Timbuck II ...

Our server Ryan (Bigs) was absolutely incredible. He made the experience an A++ for us. Though the food and drinks were very good, he was great. Thank you Ryan for your hospitable service style and humor.

Service was excellent. Great alcohol selection the and everything we ordered came out perfect. I will be eating there again.
