Story

North Kansas City Hospital is accredited by the Joint commission and has received numerous awards, certification and recognitions for our quality and attention to patient care and safety. Our medical staff is made up of 600 physicians representing 49 specialties. The Hospital offers a full range of services for inpatient and outpatient care. North Kansas City Hospital has services designated as Centers of Excellence because of the emphasis placed on the standard of care in these departments: Cancer Care which includes our partnership with The University of Kanas Cancer Center, the area's only NCI designated facility. Cardiac Care - the first full-service cardiac program in the Northland. Our ER is one of the busiest emergency departments in the city seeing over 64,000 patients a year. Orthopedic Services with surgeons who specialize in joint replacement and non-surgical care. Women's Health providing services to meet the unique needs women experience at all stages of their lives and includes our partnership with Children's Mercy Hospital, where babies in our Level III NICU receive specialized, round-the-clock care from their doctors.
