My technician for the mammogram and bone density test was excellent! The check in process was NOT! Though I arrived early for my 10:00 appointment it took 30-40 minutes to check in. Only one person at the desk and she was working as fast as she could. I have come to this facility for about 30 years for these tests and it's generally been smooth and easy in the past. This needs to be rectified! I will likely be going elsewhere in the future. 1 star for check in, 5 stars for my health care professional.
I waited 10 minutes to be seen and then was back in a room quickly. Staff members and nurses were all very kind. The admitting nurse was pretty gruff/ didn't really greet me or make me feel at ease in any way but she was the first person i saw so maybe she is just kind of like all business? Would def return if I needed ED care.
My check in was great. I was actually early and the only person in Registration. My technician was wonderful. She made me feel very comfortable through the process. She shared her years of experience . I am satisfied with the great service I received. Thank you
Online registration is a great option. Front desk very welcoming. The tech that provided my mammogram made a very uncomfortable situation, as pleasant as possible. I loved the Saturday appointment.
Very easy to make an appointment and once I got there I was assisted immediately. Had my mammogram almost immediately after signing in at the front desk. Everyone was very nice.
I always get right in, and the staff is excellent. I recently had to be admitted. I had to travel by medical transport to the main hospital. It really is a pain, but it's worth it to me because I get such good care, unlike the ER at the main hospital. I highly recommend this location.
I gave 2 stars because anytime I visit this ER I have an acceptable experience. But today in the ER was horrible. I came in about 10:30am. Checkin was fine. The problem was when I made it to my room. My nurse and doctor's name both was Emily. They didn't come in the room until 12:15is. They didn't show any compassion or any sign that they cared I was in pain. When the doctor Emily came in, we were going over what was wrong and she abruptly left the room saying she had a phone call. Didn't come back in for 30 minutes I'm not exaggerating. When she finally came back in she did the same thing again left the room. At that point I called the number for complaints and left a message. About 10 minutes later the Nurse Emily came in and tried to start an iv. She wasn't paying attention and said that she blew my iv. I immediately told her to get someone else. She shrugged her shoulders and said it'll be a longer wait. I was sent home with no pain meds and Emily said they don't give out pain meds in the ER.
When I walked in, the security guard was pleasant and helpful. The charge nurse who took my vitals was efficient and understanding. The room was clean and the room nurse was kind and worked to generally put me at ease. The nurse practitioner was quick and resourceful. I'll be coming here from now on. Thanx guys!
Horrible. Go anywhere but here. I went to the ER after Urgent Care couldn’t provide an ultrasound or bloodwork to check out the pin in my abdomen which ended up being diverticulitis. The ER doctor Dr. Patel sent me away, claiming I might be having a miscarriage after they took a $250 deposit and never touching me or listening to me.
I have had pnemonia for over a month. Went to your ER 3 or 4 times Brookside location this month. I told the ER doctor several times I think I have pnemonia. Finally after my request he did a chest x ray on my last visit. He came back and told me I don't have pnemonia it's my COPD. Also he has told me on another visit it was bronchitis. Long story short 3 days after my visit at the ER there I went to St. Luke's east Lee's Summit and was admitted to the hospital on IV drip antibiotics. Apparently that doctor has a big ego or don't know what he's doing and that's scary. I was very sick and I told him I had pnemonia I've had it before. He didn't listen I know people make mistakes but 3 or 4 X's is pure neglect!!!!
