Loved my stay there. The staff was Awesome I could not have asked for better people and a nicer hospital thank you for everything
I don't do Google reviews really but I felt it necessary to share my experience over the last 10 months post surgery. Dr. Archie Heddings is the most realistic, caring, and genuine professional doctor I've ever dealt with and I've dealt with alot. He puts his patients well being first instead of farming you through like cattle as most doctors do. It's been a helpless feeling in my situation over this last year and it's nice having a doctor I can say I trust now because I never have before! Would recommend him and his staff to anyone.
Nice place but some of the doctors are a joke. My girlfriend had surgery yesterday on her EYE and one of the doctors came in this morning and said she shouldn’t be in pain. 20 minutes later her stitches start bleeding a ton. But she shouldn’t be in pain? Had the same guy say it last time then had a doctor above him say he was wrong and gave my girlfriend what she needed. Rave to dr. Garr though. Amazing doctor and really helpful
Beyond frustrated with the billing department. I’ve called multiple times, provided them their own itemized bills and claims with INCORRECT coding and charges which have doubled over the last four years and lied to me saying they put the bills on hold while they received the documentation. Apparently, they don’t tell the patient the review is complete and denied and you’re being sent to collections, they just send it! Zero communication. Beyond appalled a healthcare system would have such horrible communication when their billing is incorrect. A preventative mammogram is not the same thing as diagnostic and yet they don’t know how to bill this correctly!
I've been coming to KU for a long time, for everything ranging from ER services to specialist care to primary doctors. It's not always perfect, I've encountered the occassional rude nurse or dismissive doctor, but overall the best in the area in my experience. They're more respectful and educated on average than other hospitals regarding transgender care, which is important to me. They also treat my more medically complex loved one with care and respect beyond what other hospitals in the area have provided.
It was the worst, they removed me from the room and take me to the hall way while I have 3days baby that need to change diapers and breastfeeding and others. I ask a room they refused and other people who come after me they got a room. I am the only people in hall. It the terrible thing ever happened. The baby is tired from sitting in car seat. They do not care about well being for people.
This hospital gave us false hope! They said my dad would wake up! They killed my dad. They botched his "life saving surgery". Two days after the surgery my dad went into a coma! Save your love ones and take them somewhere else!
Awesome hospital, doctors, nurses, and everything about them. Dr. Landazuri my neurologist and crew have changed my life. I now live seizure free and am blessed every day thanks to them. If you have the same problem I did I highly suggest you go here!!!
I could never understand why it takes ALL DAY FOR EVERYTHING. I've been here since 11am and it's 4pm and all I've done is pee in a cup. They made sure to collect the insurance first thing. I use to love this hospital since they been building they've stop caring. And don't have a low budget insurance because they really don't care for you then.
Dee W, the desk clerk at wound clinic was the nicest and provided the best service we could ask for. She even took us to our next appointment in the building! Top notch service and doctors as well!
