We love the location of this campground to Smith College, downtown Northampton, wineries, and great food places. The staff was helpful and quick with check in. We liked all the little things the lodge provided: utensils, pots (for outside side burner), dishes, cups and mugs .
There was even everything you needed to wash the dishes properly: soap, drying rack & mat. Bathroom had plenty of tp, a bath mat, and small toiletries. We felt we could have used more direction on how to work the RV toilet in the lodge. We would have liked for the grill outside to have been cleaned and scraped of char.

For us, the sites were a little small and a challenge to back a 21 foot travel trailer into. The staff were very nice and my daughter enjoyed the playground. There was a breakfast special offered the weekend we were there. Unfortunately, there were no signs directing us where to go. It almost seemed like those who were just passing through were put in the front of the campground and weren't encouraged to take advantage of the activities at the pavilion in the back of the campground, even though the activities were open to all.

Beautiful grounds, dark at night and peaceful, and the spaces are nicely spread out and well set up. However the bathroom/shower/laundry facilities are very dated, grungy, and variably working. I came in late but had asked for a spot near the facilities as I have mobility issues. They gave me a great spot, but the only shower in the closest bath house did not work. They thankfully have multiple bathhouses throughout the park, but I had to hike up the hill to access a working one - not great on a bad hip. I feel like I could have saved a few dollars on one of the more remote spaces near the working facility and there were plenty of open spaces to choose from. But even the working shower was dirty and took 5 minutes to warm up.
Though I was stoked to find a park open in the cold of late April, I found it weird that all doors on the guest facilities were screen doors. Lacks privacy and is very cold when it’s only 39 out! Plus, I get the impression people store their rvs here over winter, and I’d guess it was a very harsh winter judging by the amount of damage to some of them. When I’m not at a KOA I’m boondocking, so I don’t need anything special, but this KOA needs a little work.
This would be a great park if you are in a self contained RV, but wouldn’t recommend it for tents or pop ups.

My wife and I are traveling around the country for a year as young full-time RV'ers. We found this KOA and they happily welcomed us into their facility for 3 weeks. Dusty was super friendly and helpful. He escorted us to our site (which was very quiet and spacious), and we had great fun showing our home on wheels to other families and kids in the park. There were daily events and facilities were very clean. One thing that keeps getting mentioned here is the state of the restrooms. We've been to over 32 campgrounds from the west coast to the east coast, and found them to be above average. Remember folks, you're camping! They were clean, free, and had hot water.
You're close to North Hampton and right up the road is Outlook Farm's store which has good coffee, apple cider donuts, and local produce. Highly recommend -- this is a spot not to be missed.

We enjoyed the place. Beautiful area. Would be even better if they had hiking trails connected to it. And something more than a snack bar.
