The cabin was kind of disgusting, run down, and smelly. Also, the campground was not exactly picturesque.
Moreover, the price was a bit high for my taste, but I know there are costs that come along with running this sort of place, especially in New England where taxes and cost of living run high.
The owner was SUPER nice! The facilities were pretty well taken care of.

My friends and I try to make it out at least a couple times every summer. Great place to bring your horses. Pens already set up, so no messing with electric fencing. Tons of trails to explore. Pool is always clean. Owners are awesome. Really love this place!

My friend and I brought our horses for our second camping trip at Wagon Wheel and could not have been happier! The owner remembered us by sight and gave us a warm welcome! Our site was beautiful, very good sized, and set on the edge of the woods and a trail entrance was conveniently located right behind our site! Everything was perfect. We loved the trail we chose to ride, it was a perfect mix of challenging terrain, up and down hill, but with flat spaces in between, a great combination. It came out on a gravel road which gave us a nice flat spot to move out a bit. There are so many trails available, we could never ride them all in a weekend. We will definitely return. It was excellent.
