Northwest Indiana Martial Arts Academy

I have been a student here for about 2 years or so and it is just great! The instructors are kind and fun, yet stern about how you are doing. This studio is definitely for everyone. I have seen kids as young as about 6 and people old as in their 60s. I have also seen someone there with autism and was treated just the same. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is trying learn karate!

I have been training here for 4 years and it feels like home. The instructers are amazing. They are great with kids of all ages. If you want a spoon full of kindness and fun I would suggest to try it out. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would.

This is a fantastic martial arts school that both my son and I attend. The skills he’s learned, like focus and the importance of practicing to become better have been invaluable. The instructors are patient, positive and fun to work with.

enrolling my son in this school is one of the best moves that I have done for my son's personal and emotional growth. This is more than a martial arts school, the instructors here also focus on their students emotional and social growth. I would like to especially commend Instructor Zachary Mashburn. My son has had one on one lessons with him for more than a year now and I have seen so much growth in my son that goes well beyond martial arts skills. Mr. Mashburn is very personable, patient and kind hearted. I could not say enough good things about him. I strongly recommend this school for anyone who is interested in martial arts.

My son had been going for over a year. The only sport he has wanted to stick with for longer than 1/2 a season. The instructors are great and cater amazingly to the different age groups. My son is looking forward to earning his black belt.
