Star Martial Arts

Awesome experience for my entire family. My 8 year old is the only one actually enrolled. But Star provides a welcoming, family oriented environment, where we can all observe, interact and feel comfortable. My favorite part about the program is that my son actually enjoys it and the discipline is necessary. Thank you Star Martial Arts.

Star is an amazing place. They take their time to work with the kids that need extra attention and it’s more than just taekwondo. They teach them discipline, respect, compassion and confidence. My son has an issue with being social and gets very nervous around new people and kids. He had breakdowns at the beginning and was scared and didn’t want to participate and they worked with him every step of the way. He would cry, was very nervous and they made sure he felt confident and that he could trust them as instructors. He came out of his shell within the first 4 classes with them. They take their time to pay attention to kids individually that need some extra help and i cannot thank them enough for working with my son on the days he isn’t doing so well. They care about their students and make sure us parents are happy with things. Thank you to all the teachers for being there and helping with my son.

My son has learned so much in the last 8 months at Star Martial Arts. His confidence has more than doubled, he stands up for his friends and himself, shows a huge increase in self discipline, focus and overall integrity. The instructors, staff and other families make it a friendly and comfortable environment for myself and my son. They don’t just teach karate, they teach these kids how to be compassionate and thoughtful team players. This program is worth every penny spent. Star has not only impacted my son, but also myself in ways I could never thank them enough for. I would recommend this place over and over again!

We have really enjoyed having our son at Star Martial Arts! The instructors are very professional and really know their stuff! And our son loves it all - the skill development, goal setting, testing, class structure, and instructors -- and he is usually excited about practicing at home! However, the other things he is learning and growing in is the reason we started it-leadership, respect, listening, following directions, self-control and discipline. All theses things we've already seen some improvement in since enrolling. The respect in class he gives others and his instructors is amazing and I know it's due to the influences in the classroom by both his peers and instructors. There are so many reasons both on the mat and off the mat we'd recommend Star Martial Arts to everyone!

The team at Star Martial Arts in phenomenal! I appreciate the fact that they are reinforcing the positive character traits that we are instilling in our children. I also appreciate that my child is not allowed to win simply because he participates. The expectations are set, proper training is given and it is up to the parents and children to make sure that they are ready. Well done, Mr. Morgan and team.
