Not Just Cake VA

The cakes and desserts from here are very delicious. I went here for the first time to get dessert after eating at the egg bistro. Me and my kids just loved all the desserts we got. I ended up ordering my birthday cake from here. My birthday cake was also very delicious. There were so many layers and the flavors were excellent together. I really enjoyed my white chocolate sea shells. I've posted my "beach" cake.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! The manager of this establishment took my deposit for my sons 1st birthday cake. I emailed pictures of what I wanted a few days later. Then on the day I was to pick up the cake I arrived at the shop at the time we agreed on and there was no cake to pick up. They never baked our cake. I was out a cake for my sons birthday and all this manager and owner could do was say Im sorry and we will refund you. This place is very unorganized, rude to not only the customers but their own employees too. I will tell everyone I come across to not use this place, ever!

I am hooked forever. Everything is always fresh and delicious. I go every week because I can't get enough. The selection of cup cakes are amazing, such innovation and creativity. Must try this bakery.

I placed an order well in advance and described in detail as well as provided a photo of what type of cake design I wanted. I went into the store and asked if they were able to make the cake, they agreeded and told me to send a picture to their email. After leaving the store, it took several attempts to obtain the correct email based on them giving me an older email that no longer accepted emails. Even after sending the information, I had to call a week and a half later to see of they recieved the order details and picture of the cake. I also stated that i wanted a rainbow marble base but instead the inside was strawberry! not multiple colors like the rainbow. When I picked up the cake it was not at all what i expected. The color theme was completely off. I shared a photo of a neon/galactic theme and the colors placed on the cake were more of a pastel color (easter type colors). I wish i could submit photos because I was really upset with the details of the cake.
