I'm a dentist in Cape Town South Africa and I have been practicing dentistry since 1983. Let's just say that I've been to a few dental lectures in the past 40 years! Today I had the privilege and pleasure to meet and listen to Dr Miles. He is a fountain of useful information and anecdotes and when he summarizes his mini lectures with key takeaway points it leaves you smiling. The enthusiasm for dentistry and love and respect he has for every patient comes through from every angle. If I lived in Maine, Miles would be my dentist, hands down. Bravo

Hands down the best dentistry in terms of professionalism, ethics, and transparency. I use it for all my dental needs and would recommend to all who can afford high quality dental care they first charge you and then insurance covers some of that, so be ready to cover the whole bill after treatment. Dr. Miles Cone and Cornelia are a great and fun team, always welcoming and fun to chat with.

Dr. Cone and his team are THE BEST! My experience at Nuance Dental Specialists was the most enjoyable dental experience I've ever had! The office is exceptionally clean, very comfortable, and Dr. Cone is so personable, it doesn't feel like you're even at the dentist in the best way! I am the reigning Miss Vermont USA, and I received a whitening treatment and a cleaning. Nuance made sure my smile is "pageant white"! I used to occasionally use whitening filters on my photos- not anymore!! And the cleaning was a comfortable process! Choose Nuance Dental Specialists! Definitely won't regret it!

I first went to Nuance Dental to get some information about teeth whitening. Not only did I get whiter teeth, but I now have a new dentist that I want to visit and I feel like I have also made new friends! From the first moment I was greeted at the door, I felt like I was a long lost friend! Dr Cone he prefers to be called Miles!, and his lovely wife and business partner Cornelia, are warm and inviting and made me feel so comfortable - just visiting good friends, not going to the dentist!  But they are 100% professional, answered all of my questions, and provided me with the information I needed to make good decisions about my dental health and needs. They have protocols in place to make you feel safe in their environment as we all struggle with coronavirus, including only 1 patient in the office at a time this was extremely important to me.  After a lengthy consultation, we decided on Zoom whitening.  I was very anxious about the treatment, so Miles stayed in the room with me for the entire 45 minute treatment, just to make sure I was comfortable and if I needed anything he was right by my side. And the results are amazing!  My teeth are white! Not the dingy gray and yellow they were when I first walked into their offices. Thank you Miles and Cornelia!  I am thrilled with the results and look forward to coming to see you for my regular visits!  Like old friends...

I've been going to Dr. Cone since I moved to Portland two years ago, and he's the only dentist I've ever had who makes me feel relaxed and not nervous or anxious. He's also the most careful dentist I've ever had when it comes to not inflicting pain. His office is beautifully relaxing, his staff are great, and his chairside manner is perfect. He was the first place I visited after being isolated for almost two months, and his meticulous attention to detail when it came to hygiene and safety protocols made me feel extremely safe, secure, and comfortable.

Dr. Cone is the most meticulous clinician I have ever met. It shows through his incredible work and he will go above and beyond for his patients, whatever it takes! Driving hours to meet with his ceramist to make sure the crowns are a perfect color match, working weekends and over time, you name it. Love his new modern office as well, makes the entire dental experience next level! Couldn't recommend more!!

I had dental implants done in Costa Rica that later got infected and needed to be removed. The experience left me with several missing teeth, made eating certain foods difficult and made me feel socially awkward when talking. When I first met Dr. Cone, I was right away impressed with his professionalism. He understood my concerns, made me feel comfortable and took the time to explain each step of the process. In my opinion Dr. Cone is a perfectionist who gives his patients the best smiles. I am very glad Dr. Cone worked on my case and made it possible for me to enjoy my favorite foods and to be an outgoing person again. I highly recommend anyone looking for a great smile to see Dr. Cone.

As a Dental lab technician and lab owner I know first hand the quality of Dr. Miles Cone . His work is meticulous and high quality. Dr. Miles is the most passionate and honest dentist I have ever met . Don’t even give this a second thought. If you need restoration work he works with world renowned technicians because that teamwork is a requirement for the finest end result which many dentists don’t recognize, they look for low priced labs. This is as good as it gets .

I received a recommendation to Nuance Dental from a very well respected and established area Oral Surgeon. I sought care for 2 dental implants and could not be more satisfied with the result. In addition, I continue to receive my preventative dental care through Nuance as they have not only knowledge and skill but use state of the art equipment. The friendly atmosphere, prompt scheduling, and competency of the staff all result in an entirely wonderful dental experience. imagine- looking forward to visiting the dentist !!

After a disappointing and painful experience with a crown at another dentist's office, I wanted to be done with dentists for good. However, I still have many procedures that need to be taken care of. I was highly impressed with not only Dr. Cone's level of expertise, but that he took the time to carefully listen and consider all of my concerns with my teeth. He carefully assessed my oral health needs, and established a plan that includes other dental specialists. I feel confident in my oral care going forward with Dr. Cone.
