For my husbands birthday I took him to Aspen Dental in Portland to see what could be done to make him want to smile again. After 2 hours and 10 minutes he had decided on getting dentures, after getting several teeth extracted so step one is over. Next step will be the actual extractions and immediate dentures put in on the same day while his gums heal. Then in 6 months or so he will get his actual dentures with adjustments along the way. Everyone there is so kind and understanding and efficient handling my husbands teeth issues with concern and not shaming him for his lack of dental care. So far he is very happy with his choice of a place to handle his dental issues. Also an affordable payment plan was quickly set up as well Thank you Aspen Dental for giving my husband a reason to smile again!
I'm Very Impressed. I'm in Portland on business for a few months, and had a minor issue that needed to be addressed. I'm always a bit hesitant when dealing with nationwide corporations for this kind of thing, but called the office and spoke with someone who was really on top of her game. After identifying the problem, she let me know that: "We can see you this afternoon, and it shouldn't take very long". The confidence was inspiring... but one always wonders... So... I showed up on time.. The receptionist knew instantly why I was there. And I was seen within 15 minutes of arrival. The two persons I spent time with, Paige and Jocelyn - Were outstanding in every way. They listened - and understood the issue right away .. and took steps to get it resolved, never missing a beat. Professional, Conscious, Fun, and super Efficient. Thank you, Ladies... you saved me a lot of time and trouble. I would definitely return!
I HAD JUST SAT DOWN IN THE DENTAL CHAIR WHEN THE RECEPTIONIST SUDDENLY APPEARED AND ASKED ME FOR $1600 + BEFORE PRELIMINARY BRIDGE WORK COULD BE STARTED - WHEN I TOLD HER I HAD ALREADY PAYED, SHE SAID SHE HAD NO RECORD OF THE PAYMENT - I ASKED HER TO CHECK AGAIN - A FEW MINUTES LATER SHE STOPPED BACK IN TO INFORM THAT SHE DID FIND RECORD OF THE PAYMENT OF $1700+ AND ASKED ME TO THEN SIGN A RECEIPT - ERRORS DO HAPPEN, BUT… THE TECHNICIAN THAT CONDUCTED THE PRELIMINARY SCANNING WAS NOT AT ALL INFORMATIVE - AT THE END OF THE SESSION SHE SHOWED ME STILLS OF “MY SMILE” - SHE THEN INFORMED THAT A TEMPORARY BRIDGE WOULD BE MADE AND THAT I WAS ALL SET - GOOD BYE - SEVERAL DAYS LATER I STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHEN TO EXPECT WORD THAT THE TEMPORARY BRIDGE WOULD BE READY - WOW!
I mean they did good work and helped me out. Told me insurance covered most of it and I payed around 2000$ in cash for the rest. Then I go back a few months later for a fix and they tell me I owe 3200$ for previous services. The lady was real rude about it and just wanted me to feel like shit… eventually she figure out that insurance denied after the fact… and now I’m responsible for the 3200$. I wouldn’t have gotten the work done if this was the case but now I’m stuck… claimed they sent me a bill… they didn’t… Also that bill… probs going to collections… cus I don’t have that kind of money.. and I was told insurance covered it only to find out months later they didn’t… The hygienists and dentists are wonderful, but the business practice needs some work…
Very bad experience at this Aspen dental. Very unprofessional team. I told them I had a surgery in 2016 which they had to take a piece of my check for my body repair. The doctor and nurse started laughing. Please do not go to Aspen dental... Very rude.
Expensive and slow, plan on spending a couple hours here no matter what your appointment is for, half of that wait will be in the waiting room. They are very nice and welcoming until you are a long term patient, then they are rude.
The people and the place was nice and I didn't have to wait long. I would recommend aspen dental to everyone.
They were very caring and pleasant. Took the time to make sure of my comfort thru each process as a new patient. I had a very sore tooth that had broken and the Dr. smoothed it down until I get it pulled. The [lace to go for dental needs. They work out payments if no insurance which is my case.
Had a crown fall out that needed attention. Made an appointment that afternoon for that and a comprehensive exam. Professional and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
This Aspen dental had the most thorough, comprehensive dental treatment of any dentist I’ve been to! They did at least twice as many x-rays, and were super detailed with the gym exam. Additionally and probably most importantly to me both the doctor and hygienist were kind and understanding regarding the sensitive nature of a cosmetic issue I was looking to have resolved. Thanks to everyone at Aspen Dental! Aimee
