This is one of my frequently visited places to eat as it has healthy vegetarian food at a decent price! All the veggie options are good. The bowls are fantastic: lots of veggies, rice or grain blend and your choice of tofu or cauliflower. Very filling and tasty. Plus they have 10% discount for NYU students!
Delicious and fast, although the peppercorn catfish wasn't quite what I expected. It was not crusted with peppercorns, but rather with a teriyaki sauce. Very tasty especially with the Chile lime yogurt sauce and seasonal vegetables. The lime was dry, unfortunately, which meant that I could not squeeze it on the fish. Also it was a tad pricey.
This place has a great pulled pork sandwich. I don’t eat much pork, but this place manages to make the pork not feel too fatty and have enough flavor and texture. Not too dry, not too greasy, just great and tasty flavor packed in a sandwich.
Everything on the menu is not only good but also fresh. The grilled khmer sausage sandwich is terrific.
I liked this place. Not super fast do to lots of orders coming in through apps. But the bowls are solid. And it's not too expensive for a take away.
They have an interesting classic sandwich menu but when I saw their season specials, I was determined to give one a try. I went for the ginger barbecue brisket and it was delicious! It was a great treat with the combination of ginger and barbecue sauce with pickled cabbage and a generous piece of meat. Everything went very well together and I didn't have to wait very long. The only problem is, the place it really small and they don't really have much space to stay and dine, but it's a quick meal. I will definitely go back to try some of their other specialties.
The BEST place to eat in Chelsea Market! Went with a friend. I had the pulled pork sandwich, and she had the roast beef. All sandwiches come with standard toppings and a basic sauce that you can't alter...I'm glad I didn't because the mix of flavors is just perfect. I do think they pile on the shredded carrots a bit too much, though! My sandwich had a sweet sauce that really hit the spot. We also had the Cambodian slaw...amazing! Every bite has a pop of flavor. Not too spicy even though they say it is; not too sweet. Very good portions we shared the slaw.
A cool sandwich concept. I've enjoyed all the veg options I've gotten here - sandwiches are consistently tasty. I do wish they would offer their bowls in veg options as well - don't see why they couldn't, they just don't. The location just above Madison Sq kind of has a junky run-down feel, even though it's brand new. I really like it, though.
They have excellent sandwiches here. Super tasty and unique. I've had the skirt beef and yam, both were mouth-watering. Nice seasonal variety and interesting sides. I've been meaning to try the watermelon juice.
Creative and delicious Asian sandwiches. All sandwiches are served on a freshly toasted semolina flour baguette and served with cucumber, pickled carrots, cilantro, and Num Pang's signature chili mayo. Classic sandwiches include pulled duroc pork, peppercorn catfish, hoisin meatballs, coconut tiger shrimp, roasted cauliflower, and grilled skirt steak. They also have rice bowls like roasted salmon, roasted chicken, spicy pork, and seasonal veggie. Ordered the coconut tiger shrimp sandwich $10.50 to go. What a sandwich. Crispy bread, perfectly cooked shrimp, tons of flavor, none of the mess. One of the better sandwiches I've had. Union Square location has 6 seats tops plus an outside bench. So not a great place to squat for hours with friends but comes with super fast service.
