NuVegan Cafe - Howard University

On a vacation I tried NuVegan cafe and the food was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised that the vegan Mac and cheese was so good. It was very rich. I had the chicken tenders also and they were very good. I would recommend this spot and I hope to visit again soon. Even if it will be a 2 and a half hour drive.

The lasagna was weirdly really spicy and the mac and cheese lacked flavor but the texture of both were fine and just like the real thing. They were just very off in seasonings. Their cinnamon rolls were really good though!

I called in my order for a blackbean burger I guess because of COVID19 there's a shortage of food so they had quinoa so I decided to try that told them please put extra onions lettuce and tomato all topping well the burger wasn't bad but the topping were not good plus I had to ask for more onions. Not sure I'm going back‍

Second time this has happened to me. I say that I want the food for here and it comes out in to go containers. Then when I ask for a plate, I get an attitude. For what reason? I have no idea.
