Nystrom & Associates, Ltd. - Duluth

First off it's in the Providence Building. There are no external signs visible on the building exterior which makes it a lot harder to locate unless you knew this fact ahead of time. If you try to reschedule an appointment within 24 hours you violated their strict "24 hour policy" (even if you attended every prior session on time). This means you will no longer be eligible for further treatment for an undisclosed number of months. They literally won't be able to tell you how long until you are eligible to set up another appointment. Their advice to me was to call my insurance and find someplace else. Nystrom & Associates literally didn't even try to resolve the conflict, nor hear any explanations. I Called 26 hours before the appointment but got voicemail. So I re-called 22 hours prior to the appointment and finally got through but by then it was too late, I had already violated their strict "24 hour policy". I knew I would have to pay a fee for cancelling short-notice but apparently they can at their discretion drop you as a client anytime you have to reschedule. No second-chances. I suppose this is the level of service you can expect from a business that was established as rexently as 1991.

If you have scheduled an appointment with them you'll know that the office taking your calls is so LOUD you can't barely hear what the person you're talking to is saying. So annoying!

I went there a couple times both for therapy and arhms worker. The physcatrist at the time was always complimenting himself and I brought my sister he made a pass at her. The therapist I was seeing was awesome he helped me get my sis. However I missed an appointment with the physcatric nurse so they were very rude when I tried to go back

Did not send documentation in a timely manner. This caused chaos and confusion while trying to get a loved one into treatment.
