This place exceeded expectations by far. We stopped in for happy hour which is 5-7 every Wednesday and Friday. You can capitalize on half price appetizers and half price sushi rolls. The only thing is they have no drink specials. But the food far exceeds expectation and the quality is unbeatable! I would highly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat. The dumplings knocked my socks off. 100% best dumplings I’ve ever had!
Hits the nail in the head every time. I love their variety of food options. They are plentiful, and the food is always so good and fresh. Whether inside or outside, the scenery is always a great vibe. Service is pleasant. Parking is valet only unless you park close by.Food: 5/5
HANDS DOWN BEST SERVICE! My waitress, Cara, was the best server I’ve ever had. She was so sweet and knowledge about both food and alcohol menu. The crispy rice and shishito peppers were to die for! If I could give them more stars I would. Great service, food, and atmosphere!
The host gave us two options of tables, despite being packed on a Wednesday night, when our party asked for a quiet table, which was a great start! I had the omakase. Richard helped me choose some dishes and drinks along the way, which made for an excellent and memorable birthday dinner. All of the sushi was very fresh and tasted incredible. Richard’s service was second to none; his knowledge of the menu really helped make it a delicious experience.
I’m a huge sushi fan and let me go ahead and say that you need to check out this spot! The ambience is divine and the costumer service is on point. We ordered a variety of dishes. I highly recommend the Hamachi Carpaccio & Salmon Usuzukuri. Mouth watering is an understatement. We didn’t have room for dessert but did try a couple of the Cocktails. I ended up sticking with white wine after the Lychee Martinis. Great place for date night or girls night out. I would recommend to book a reservation ahead of time bc it books up pretty quick. Dress code is dressy, not a casual place. There is complimentary parking. An Atlanta must if your in the city!
I took my wife here tonight for our anniversary dinner and to say that it was amazing would not capture everything we both experienced. Our waiter Julian gave us recommendations to several pieces that he not only had tasted but knew exactly what a sushi lover needs to know about their cuts of fish. Some of the dishes were sweet for our palate like the crispy rice and the pork belly but it wasn’t a bad dish. Every cut of fish was extremely fresh. Our favorite was the hamachi carpaccio. Thank you for a wonderful experience ! My wife thoroughly enjoyed herself she’s not easy to please we hope to come back for more during your Happy Hour and see Julian again.
Enjoyed a Christmas Eve dinner with Tom who ordered the tuna special, square cut rolls not your traditional round, sea weed rolls, also enjoyed the fresh spicy baja roll and started with the steamed pot stickers. There are a few vegetarian options. I enjoyed the veggie roll with asparagus and avocado, started the meal with the fresh lightly salted edamame and the shishito peppers. Our waiter recommended a great cold sake and a glazed green tea flan. The dinner was enjoyable, staff attentive, the dinner room was a little loud, definitely will return, special occasions. Easy location on the Westside just off Howell MIll Rd. Must valet park.
O-Ku is a good in the city of Atlanta. The ambience is smooth and the menu selections are interesting but full of flavor. Be sure to try one or a few of their amazing crafted cocktails and sake.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
Fantastic sushi place with great ambiance. We happened to go on a Tuesday night during the happy hour times Tuesday and Wednesday 5-7, and I highly recommend coming to visit then if you want a top tier sushi experience for an absolute bargain. Cool interior, extremely tasty food, and acceptable service though a bit slow at times. My only critiques are as follows: 1 music was a little too loud and playlist was weird jumped from party vibes club music to slow sad Post Malone/The Weenknd songs. 2 we were seated on the side of the restaurant near the door to the roof, and being January, we were hit with a cold gust of wind each time someone opened the door which was surprisingly very frequently.
The food was great. The service not so much. Our reservation requested special accommodations for accessibility. When we arrived we were told by the host that those accommodations could not be honored. I asked to speak to a manager, explained the situation who did ultimately accommodate us but made a point to mention to do so they would have to sit us in a closed off section of the dining area. Our server was reticent but the table ultimately won him over with kindness. The later the section was opened to other guests. I’m not certain why a big deal had to be made about accessibility accommodations but it will certainly give me pause about choosing this restaurant again, even with a great meal.
