This has been my local tool store & tool repair store for two decades. O'Neill's is simply one of the best local businesses around. They also have repaired used tools at good prices.
It’s a small store really helpful they had what I need it that also mix tool.
I had a Rigid R4513 portable table saw with an abhor bearing going out. I called Rigid and was told to call and set up an appointment to have my tool looked at as part the Lifetime Service Agreement. So I called this place and the guy says that any inspection would be a $60 minimum, non-refundable fee, not including parts and labor. I explained to him the problem I was having and the abhor bearing sounding like the grinding of rocks. He says unless the bearing "exploded" the grinding sound is from poor maintenance. From this point I figured he doesn't know what he's talking about because the bearing is completely enclosed in the gear box on one side and covered with the bearing cap on the other. The only way to have maintained that bearing would have been to dissemble and remove the bearing from the gear box thus voiding the warranty. I was eventually able to get my table saw repaired with purchasing the $5 bearing online and then taking that along with the bearing assembly, to a nearby machine shop. There, they were able to swap out the old with the new and did it for free! I'll be writing to Rigid to consider changing who they have as their authorized repair center here in the Portland Metro area.
This store has always delivered quality tools and good service. Bought tools here many times for the same price at the big box stores. Good service and knowledge of their products. I go to them whenever I need something unique. Lots of Kreg brand products.
High prices and a bad attitude. Employees are condescending. Like they even talk down when explaining tool features during sales. It's like going to a jerk mechanic when you need repairs done with how pushy they can be. I've heard that warranties aren't honored for repairs done here. Don't buy tools here because of the service.
I strongly recommend O'Neills Tools. Matt is a tool repair guru. He's been fixing our company's nail guns, compressors and saws for many years now. Fast turn around and fair pricing makes this our "go to" shop for tool repair. We also purchase new and reconditioned equipment from O'Neills with warranties that are covered in-house. They stand behind their tools and repairs. Even fresh donuts on Mondays, can't ask for much more!
poor selection of tools. know it all saleman that don't know $hite. Argues about tools I have owned and he does not. the tool's quality and specs. Only knows marketing copy. ... I won't ever shop there again. I wil stick with Professional Constr. Supply stores
Reasonable price. Employee was knowledgeable of products. A little rough around the edges but over all was a good experience. I will definitely return next time I need a tool fixed thanks
Check them out before you chuck your power tool, they repaired my planer for cheap and super fast and everyone there was great to work with.
Super awesome customer service. I will definitely bring my tools here for maintenance!
