The Service Center

Glad I called The Service Center! The technician, Ray showed up on time and immediately tackled replacing the door gasket on my front loading Samsung washer. He showed his expertise and did the job in a timely manner. The charges were extremely reasonable and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs an appliance repair!

My dishwasher died suddenly so my room mate did some research and did what he thought should work to fix it. Didn't work. So I called the good and friendly people at The Service Center and they fit me in within 2 days, which was much appreciated. I didn't have much hope that the dishwasher could be fixed but wanted to avoid adding one more thing to the landfill. Ray not only fixed it, saving me hundreds in the purchase of a new unit, he also donated a very generous amount to the group I work with that feeds the homeless, Many Hands - Action and Advocacy. I highly recommend this business for their professionalism and their big heart and good will!

Prompt scheduling, good communication tentatively scheduled but had to get parts and checked back in when they became available, and fixed on the first visit. Very knowledgeable -- Judy immediately noticed when I gave the wrong model number washer instead of dryer, suggested that the fix could be cheaper than we expected because other parts often fail than the one we thought given the device's history, and gave us a good ballpark quote covering the range of costs we might see.Service: Washer/dryer repair

Thankful this resource is still available to repair in our disposable society! LG was recommending I replace my 10 year old washer at a comparable unit cost of over $1000,,, Service Center repaired the issue quickly, and on a Saturday appointment, for a fraction of that cost. Well worth it. Office personnel and the tech sent were professional, and easy to work with. The tech knew his stuff and was prompt and quick! Thank you.

Judy coordinated a washing machine repair at my rental property while I was out of town. She was communicative, very pleasant and easy to work with. They were able to accommodate me quick and for a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them and would hire them again.

Our 16 year old refrigerator compressor was intermittently not starting. I called in the Service Center and the tech proposed replacing the start kit, since the problem was either the compressor $$$$$ or the start kit $. He brought the part with him based on some troubleshooting over the phone and replaced it on the first visit. The refrigerator was working when he left but went back to it's old ways several days later, confirming that a new compressor was required. I called them to let them know and they immediately offered me a refund on the work without me even having to ask. A check came in the mail a few days later. That type of honesty and willingness to stand behind one's work seems all to rare these days. We now have a new fridge but if we have any more appliance issues, I'll definitely be calling the Service Center.

New to NE and my dishwasher broke. I prefer local businesses and the Yelp Reviews looked good. The woman answering the phone was very helpful and professional. She checked to see if they had parts, as it was likely the pump, and called me back saying her technician had a cancellation and could be here in 15 min. I didn't catch his name but he arrived promptly, listened to the machine run and could tell it was the pump. 30" later it was fixed! Service doesn't get better than that!

I have had Ray come out for a few problems- Dishwasher; Fireplace and Dryer. I will not use any other company. Excellent service, prices and Ray is such a knowledgeable nice person. Really pleasant to deal with. Forget Standard Appliance- call The Service Center!

My dishwasher wasn't working and Sears cancelled my repair appointment. I called and spoke to Ray and over the phone he told me how to fix it. Ray is great and I will always use him in the future for all my appliance repair needs.
