Ocean Hai

We stayed at this Wyndham for a timeshare presentation weekend. Ate here 2x's. 1st time at sushi bar, waitress insisted on "helping" & added 20% tip (she told us 1% went to sushi/kitchen.We thought that made no sense. A busboy could have delivered our hot sake as well. 2nd time we sat out on patio gazing at the beach. Gentleman server was terrific. Sushi amazing again. Appetizer bite -gratis- were amazing examples of yum. Knowing I am gluten-free, mine was adjusted.

The sushi was excellent. The service was "okay" (except for the bartender; she would do well to go to a service class designed to treat customers with better class). The entree however was atrocious. My wife and I ordered shrimp and chicken over a bed of rice, and it came smelling like it just came out of the freezer. It reaked of old age, and the chicken made my wife sick to my stomach. They also allowed other customers to have pets in their restaurant! I'm ok with service dogs, because they're well trained, etc., but one of our neighbors had a small dog just for show. Overall the experience was well, the atmosphere great, and again, if you come for just the sushi you're in for a good time.

The food is so good. Worth every penny. The service was atrocious when we were there. We waited 40 minutes to sit next to the kitchen in an empty restaurant. They said we couldn't sit outside even though there were empty tables outside. And only more tables became empty. The server was busy and inattentive. Gratuities are added automatically to all bills, so who cares. Spice cake was poorly balanced, but the rest of our food was very good.

Very trendy but at the same time very cozy atmosphere. The special menus are excellent. Great service and friendly staff. Definitely a place to go for a special occasion if you like a trendy environment.

Best place we have eaten at so far. Service premium Atmosphere excellent. Sushi perfect Pho excellent We will probably eat here again tomorrow.
