Dr. E. Adams was very patient, super cool, and down to earth. She was very helpful and thorough. Definitely knows her stuff. Its awesome when someone loves their craft. Especially when able to speak the medical side of things and then give analogies/examples a normal person can understand. Very clean and efficient facility with knowledgeable staff.
The entire team exhibited the highest degree of professionalism and kindness during my visit. I received immediate attention and was prescribed the necessary medication for my illness. My doctor took the time to thoroughly explain my diagnosis and I really appreciated the attention to detail. Bravo!
Wonderful staff. Helpful and kind. Nurse practitioner Carrika Thomas was very professional and knowledgeable, and solved our problem. Everyone was great!
Absolutely pitiful. I was told the wait wouldn’t be long and was here over an hour to see a PA, not a doctor. Then, I had to wait excessively to just get paperwork to leave. I also have zero confidence in the diagnosis - there seemed to be a clear disconnect with the staff and PA. Unless you have a lot of time to waste, pick another facility.
Slowest and worst care experience ever!! The visit took a total of 3 hours so much for urgent. And the waiting room only had 2 people in front of me. Had to see a PA. We went on for chest congestion and tightness. The PA tried to diagnose without even listening to her chest!!! Never again!
I would definitely recommend taking a visit here for any urgent health concerns. This was the quickest and most efficient service I’ve ever received at a clinic. I got treatment and a prescription quickly. Thank you so much to the lovely doctors and nurses! 10/10 !!
The staff at this clinic are a disgrace. They turned my young 8 year old grandson away who was sick with the flu and in pain, dizzy and feeling faint. They said Uncaringly “we can’t see him here, he’s out of network, you need to go to Ochsner on Canal” By the way, we live 2 blocks away and he is an alpha honor student at Hynes Elementary and has been a patient at the main Ochsner hospital since day one. No concern or care to turn a child away without asking if we needed them to call an ambulance or anything. I’ll let you guess why they did it.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is clean. It is medical care for general purposes so masks are required. I went in because of a sore throat, and was tested for STREP THROAT. Fortunately, I was negative. My only complaint, it took a long time!! There was no one in the waiting room. I noticed only one exam room occupied before me, and I was in there for a solid hour. Maybe even a bit longer. I did not get antibiotics, I do get why. Fine. But I do not agree with that for some cases.
My appointment time was for 1:35pm, I arrived and checked in on the MyChart app. The nurse called me within 3 minutes informing me she was ready for me in the back. Dr. Wynn was very thorough, patient, knowledgeable and caring. The staff was all the same! I never leave reviews but I have to give credit when it’s due. This urgent care is by far the best I have ever been too. Surprisingly the ER to which I had to go was the same service. I guess Ochsner overall has really good service.
Went at 11 am to get a covid test from a sore throat and was not seen until 12:30. There were 5 people behind me in waiting yet when I was finished at 1 pm and the people who came Into the clinic long after me had already been finished with their visit. Waiting 2 hours for a covid and strep test.
