Octopus Japanese Restaurant

The food is amazing. I remember coming here to eat sushi for the first time and I've been eating sushi since then, and coming back after years it reminded me why I love sushi so much. The food and venue is so nice it gives off a really friendly atmosphere. Now here is why I gave it a 3/5; the service is terrible. The only person who was attentive and actually took time to see what we needed was the general manager (Tony I believe). We waited at the entrance to be seated and nobody helped us for about 5min even though there was no line and we made eye contact with several employees. It wasn't until the general manager saw us that he seated us and waited us. He showed us the menus and helped us understand their promotions and even got our drinks (the only drinks we got the whole hour we were there). It took a while to get our sushi but it was definitely worth the wait. We attempted to order again since it was an all you can eat but never got the attention of a server, they would come and only help the table of about 5 people to our side literally right next to us there would be 2-3 waiters helping one table and none could spare a second to look over at us, at this time a waiter only came once to introduce themselves and to tell us Tony was leaving. We ended up just asking for the check after not being attended for about 15 minutes. I would understand if it was busy but it wasn't and it's not like they couldn't look to the side to notice us, to be quite honest with you I was wearing my work uniform and I believe because of it they thought I wasn't going to tip them so might as well not give me service or they thought I wasn't good enough for the restaurant (except Tony, he treated us like anyone else there). I always tip regardless of service but honestly don't show up here in your uniform, you won't get attended. If I could contact management directly I would, you need to fix this bad biased attitude your workers have they're acting boujee.

I come here frequently and they continue to have the same issues.... The food and decor are good but the service is usually lacking. My biggest issue here and the reason for my review is this... YOUR TABLES ARE DIRTY AND DISGUSTING. I don't believe I've been here one time and had a clean table. I hope management reads this and fixes it because I do enjoy coming here.

Probably the best all you can sushi, I've tried for the last two years across the North America. Super fresh and well served. Loved it. Service was a bit slow, but place was clean and welcoming.

This has been my go to sushi place for years. My husband and I get the all you can eat and it's always good food for a great price and looks beautiful. The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is for the service. It used to be good, and it's still not the worst, but the past 3 times we've been there our waitress or waiter has kept us waiting throughout the meal and had rude attitudes, which is extra insulting when you're a regular customer who tips pretty generously. Also, the decor could use some updating. The look is great, but worn

Great sushi! The staff was super friendly, and the restaurant itself has a very trendy vibe. All-you-can eat sushi dinner for $25 is a great deal!
