Off Leash K9 Training

Carrie at Off Leash K9 is proof that you CAN teach an older dog new tricks!! I signed up Samson 5 year old Pit Bull mix rescue for a two week board and train with Carrie. BEST decision of my life. My biggest struggles with my high energy pup were that he pulled incessantly on his leash he's strong so only certain people could walk him, he doesn't listen to heel and can't focus in public areas. Because of these factors, I did not feel comfortable or safe taking him out in public places, I was constantly stressed and couldn't relax and worst of all I wasn't living my life After just a couple of days with Carrie, I was amazed to see videos of Samson NOT pulling on his leash and practicing heel! After two weeks with Carrie, Samson was off leash, great with duration down in very busy and public spaces and overall more calm and well behaved!! Not to mention, still my happy fun boy! It's been two months since Carrie worked with Samson and he's doing amazing!! He never pulls on the leash anymore, even my parents can walk him with confidence. I've taken him out to public settings and I get numerous compliments on how well behaved he is. Thanks to Carrie, I finally have a life that I can share and enjoy with Samson! I can't say enough great things about Carrie. She kept in constant communication with me, shared tons of videos and photos and treated Samson as if her own. I was worried that I wouldn't keep up with the progress she made but Carrie even coached me on how to keep up with the training- she helped me with my own confidence. She truly is passionate about her job and the results are proof!

I have brought 2 dogs for training here and have had great experiences with both, 10 yrs apart!!! E-collar training makes having a dog such a better experience with more freedom for you and your dog and K9 off leash have the best trainers. Have worked with Tyler and its been a great experience!!! Highly recommend!!!

We could not have been more impressed and happy with our experience. Ian was an incredible trainer who not only taught us new tools, but also did it with true love for our dog. Our dog went from pulling while using a gentle leader to walking in a heel position within 4 hours of lessons. The surprising part has been how he seems overall happier and more content at all times. Our relationship with our dog and as a family is improved because of this training and we would recommend it to any and everyone.

My wife and I worked with Ian at Off Leash K9 in woodbridge to help us and our anxious pandemic pup overcome some behavior issues she exhibited. Ian did a fantastic job coaching us through a series of trainings to understand why our dog behaved certain ways, and how to correct those behaviors through positive reinforcement and verbal commands. We saw almost immediate positive behavior changes, and began building upon the success of previous lessons to improve our dog's confidence. Within months our dog was able to thrive in any environment and we have the tools and knowledge to ensure continued success.

So happy with our experience! Prior to training our 9 month old pup would pull when being walked, jump on everyone and laugh and go the other way when recalled. Thanks to Ian, taking her in public now is easy and enjoyable. My young kids can walk her with parental help/oversight and going to the park/hikes is a blast. Heeling when asked or exploring when we allow it and her recall is amazing! Great experience that has allowed us to bond even more with our pup. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend it to anyone considering it for their pup.

We recently took our young Doberman to Off Leash K9 and so far are very impressed with Danny. Unlike any dog trainer that I have ever met, Danny provides extremely plausible explanations for our dog's behavior, and provided a path to solving the issues at hand. He is also very patient and a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend Danny!
