Very nice museum covering a broad history of firefighting. They have a small kid's area for coloring and playing with some toys as well. The gentleman working there was so helpful and full of information. They are upgrading to a new building soon and plan on converting the current building into a more kid interactive zone. We'll definitely be back for that.
A smaller museum with 2 different rooms. Has lots of firefighter memorabilia. Which ones that has fallen and ones that are still around. Patches are all over the walls was really cool to look at and see how many different ones there is. One thing we wish was that there was more touch stations or maybe something for the kids to get more involved with. There is a kid art area to color a page and play with legos. Out side is a great place to have a picnic and let the kids run some steam off at the playground. We did enjoy ourselves.
Excellent museum. Small but really interesting. Affordable entrance fee. Beautiful memorial with a massive hidden fountain. Fun playground for kids with large picnic area. The museum worker was so friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend! We had ages 8-70 years and everyone loved it.
This was a great place to visit! The price was reasonable and the visit was well worth it. The docent was very knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy talking about different things in the museum and answering questions. My 11 year old daughter loved it, my 9 and 7 year old daughters had more fun playing on the playground. While we were there we saw a couple of younger kids that were thrilled seeing all the older fire trucks inside! There is a memorial, small playground and a couple of old fire trucks outside that is free to see.
Great little Museum. Would highly recommend to see. Was not busy and had plenty ofnitems to see and loved the outside Memorial. Does cost $6 to enter the inside Museum but is well worth it
This is a fun place to take the kids.educational, you're not allowed to climb on the indoor fire trucks. But there is a playground outside that has all this firefighter stuff. The kids can run and explorer to their hearts content.. there's also a small area where you can purchase little firefighter toys and stuff. The out side park is free inside you pay
