To preserve the heritage and history of the domestic pigeon and its relationship with humankind.
"The American Pigeon Museum and Library was originally founded in 1973 to preserve the heritage and legacy of domestic pigeon breeds through education. Our museum highlights the relationship between mankind and pigeon which has been forged over centuries of time, while placing special emphasis on the military history of the bird in wartime. We are open Friday and Saturday 10 A.M. - 4 P.M. with free admission."
