Olga's Bridal & Alterations

I went there years ago with my daughter to get her prom dress altered and I think she thought I was wealthy because she mentioned that she was doing some charity alterations for girls going to the prom that couldn't afford to pay for the alterations. I just said that 's very nice and generous of you, but I think she thought she needed to make up for her losses/time and over charged me for alterations that were not very involved. Believe me I am not wealthy and work hard for my money. After that I found a new seamstress that was very upfront and open with me about prices etc. I had alterations done for my other daughter's prom dress that were much more involved for much less money and good quality work as well. I gave a three star review since the work however was well done.

The reason i’m rating this company is simply because it was my first time there. I had passed the building for months and kept this business in mind until when I needed things altered. She was already attending to customers, so I sat down and waited for my turn but as soon as someone else walked in she hadn’t seen for years needed pants altered she gave her attention to her. I literally felt ignored. Olga then asked if I needed to try my things own? I told her I’ll just come back. Instead of her saying let me help you, she said alright and kept attending to the lady. Keep in mind I was a new customer and an African American. So, I guess she didn’t need my money. If you are going to own a Business, you should learn how to treat all customers right. Thank you!

The owner is a wonderful woman. She is extremely knowledgable as a pro seamstress. Prices are very low. Alterations are done in a timely manner with utmost quality . She also sells gowns for wedding, prom, etc. At very affordable prices.

Olga is great! I take all of my suits and whatnot here for alterations and repairs and she always takes care of me. She is very friendly, does excellent work and makes you feel very welcomed.

While I only needed my pants shortened, I saw a young girl trying on a beautiful wedding gown. She looked so lovely, but didn't have enough money. OLGA not only discounted the dress but helped her on the price of alterations. The girl and her parents were in tears, along with me. OLGA holds a special place in my heart !!!
