I've known Omar for about 40 years and figured it's about time to write a review at the risk of him getting too busy with new customers to my scheduling detriment!. I consider Omar my personal friend, but my review is objective. He's worked on all my cars over the years, always honest, always personable, very knowledgeable, all at the same time acknowledging any limitations seldom. And his prices are unbeatable. My family and I have been going to Omar's Car Care for over 3 decades. One of the kindest and most honest mechanics one could ever hope for. He never once overcharges or charges for anything unnecessary. Quality of the work, service, and repairs are unbeatable. There is a reason this place is always busy, so make sure to call ahead and schedule reservation or appointment. Many times, I have also dropped by unannounced when I was having any sort of issue with my vehicles, and Omar always took care of us. 11/10 one of the best mechanic shops, a true hidden jewel nestled in the heart of the bay area near Gish Road. ***If you are trying to find the shop for the first time, Google and Apple Maps might take you to the wrong row on Kings Row. Make sure you go down to Lane e!!!! Omar has saved me from major accidents by identifying potential risks in cars. For example my 1991 dodge ram diesel had worn out bushings/wheel bearings and other parts that were on the verge of catastrophic failure, because the truck had been sitting in a barn for over a decade . If I hadn’t taken it in and had not identified it, it was only a matter of time until the wheel came off, causing a catastrophic accident. Omar was able to catch this diagnose it and fix it all in the same day, allowing me to use my humble truck for my logistics business. Whether it’s one of my old trucks, new cars vans or even $150,000 box trucks, there’s no one that I trust more than Omar. Anytime I buy a new vehicle or I’m evaluating a new purchase of a used vehicle. I always take it by and he always kindly diagnoses it for me….it’s been invaluable for my business and I would like to give a shout out to this amazing person. Thank you Omar, you saved me and my family multiple times. We will always be eternally grateful that we met you 30 years ago

My family and I have been going to Omar's Car Care for over 20 years for a reason. Omar's professionalism, automotive expertise and excellent customer service are the reasons for the five star rating. However, if it was possible to add more I would. Don't bother going anywhere else.

Omar is awesome mechanic. You can trust him to do a good job. He won't ask you to change unnecessary stuffs since you brought the car to his place. He is genuine in his feedback. His charges are nominal. If a car dealership charges you a lot, take it to him he will tell you the real price. Then you will realize dealership is a rip-off. Thanks Omar for your honest business. Omar is a honest mechanic. I have been going to him for the last 6 years. He will only ask to change parts when really required and with reasonable prices. His in-depth automobile knowledge/experience will surely help us and saves lot of money.THANK YOU OMAR!!!

Omar is the literally go-to mechanic if and when I have issues or maintenance for my cars. He is a mechanics' mechanic. His in-depth knowledge of cars and his superb diagnostic skills is unsurpassed. You can almost never second-guess his advice.
