OMG! Nails & Spa

I have gotten my nails done here 3 times, the last time being Thursday for an infill. By Saturday, 2 of my nails had chipped despite me not doing anything out the ordinary. Had I not had a hen party to get to I would have of course went to OMG nails to have them fixed but it wouldn't have mattered because all of my nails were a mess. I had to go to a local place to have the gel taken off and reapplied there; the girl started filing away the old gel and it was peeling off so easily and was still wet underneath. All of them would have chipped if I had left them. Overall I'm really disappointed, I paid £37 for an infill for it not to be done correctly. Given the price I paid, I'm sure its not a trainee that did my nails, but regardless of that, they still should not have been like that. I enjoyed getting my nails done here, the place is friendly enough but I won't be back; given the price, the quality was disappointing.Services: Gel manicures

I was really looking forward to trying this place as a few of my friends had recommended it. Getting nails done is such a sweet little luxury nowadays! Unfortunately the whole experience was overshadowed immediately when filing off the old colour off the first finger, as the nail tech cut right across my cuticle which resulted in my pinkie bleeding quite a lot. I found the whole process quite rough, and a few of my other fingers got nicked along the way as well - never had an experience like this in any other place. The colour application and design were nice though, but didn’t outweigh the stressed tension I had to sit through initially. I have a big regret of paying the full price, I should have asked a reduction considering the circumstances - lesson learned for next time if anything like that were to happen again

Been going here for around 6 months now & wouldn’t go anywhere else. Danielle does my nails & I always love them. All the girls are lovely. Would recommend to anyone looking to get their nails done in Glasgow.

The girls at OMG Nails are exceptionally talented and I would not trust anyone other than them, especially Gemma to do my nails! No one can believe that the nail art Gemma and the girls do is all by free-hand…no stencils! The atmosphere at the salon is so warm and welcoming a friendlier bunch of girls you will never meet!Services: Pedicure

Bad experience overall. You will be expected to wait 30-45 minutes over your appointment time every time, but if you’re late by just 10 minutes for once, they’ll cancel your appointment. Totally unfair, and they won’t bother to even talk about it. Avoid them if you have any dignity! They’re arrogant and are in it only for the money, no respect for clients. Update in response to owner’s reply - I was late just once before this because of extreme traffic out of my control and today was due to a very personal reason I can’t disclose online. But I’ve had to wait over 30 minutes at yours several times, starting from my first appointment in July. I’ve also had other technicians not the person I booked with start filing my nails because my technician was still busy with previous client during my appointment. So I don’t think turning clients away at your convenience is the right solution. Or at least a call to say my appointment is cancelled would’ve been professional instead of humiliating at the salon. I don’t know how you can justify that.Service: Manicure

On Sunday i qualified in training with Omg Salon 1-2-1 training for Beginner Acrylic course with the owner Gemma. The experience from Start to finish was amazing I felt I gained so much knowledge from the theory & structured training throughout my full day with Gemma. The support I had from theory to practical side was top standards. Gemma is a lovely girl who goes out her way to help you even when leaving training . I now feel more confident for my nail career future & feel it was best decision I’ve ever made. This course was a up skill as I previously trained else where did Biab nails which I felt a 1-2-1 was what I needed to add and gain more knowledge to offer my existing clientele .
