ABSOLUTELY terrible customer service. I will not be giving this beauty supply store my business ever again. I have been shopping at this beauty supply store since I was in middle school, a loyal customer, even brining my friends and family to this business and gaining Optima Beauty Supply store traction. But after an incident at this store today that included assumptions, discrimination and profiling I will be reporting this business to the BBB Better Business Bureau. My friends and I were looking through the aisles buying the necessary items needed for our Halloween costumes, while one of the store employees is staring down at us. We understand that many beauty supply stores deal with theft, so we didn’t think much of it. I got my items and as had my items rang up by the cashier. She allows me to pay and then questions me asking, “Did you put back the small pack of lashes back on the rack? If I check your pockets I know I willl find it.” Immediately I retaliated because of her assumptions about teenage girls stealing and profiling us to be thieves. I had already paid, but we left the items and vocalized the discrimination at hand. This experience was very disheartening and made us young girls feel targeted and discriminated against. I would refrain from giving this Optima Beauty Supply store any business as they obviously displayed acts of discrimination against customers- proving the TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. ACCUSING YOUR CUSTOMERS OF THEFT IS NOT HOW YOU RUN A BUSINESS !

Do not go here if you do not speak fluent Spanish! There workers do not speak a word of English and since thier hair color books are behind the counter I had to try to communicate with them in my broken Spanish what hair color I wanted. I still somehow ended up with the wrong hair color perhaps my accent was to thick for them to understand. When I attempted to return the color the manager told me "Not to come back there since I couldn't communicate with there workers. I guess the amount of energy to pick a color for me only to get it wrong due to the language barrier wasn't worth it for them and refused to refund me or return my color just to insure I wouldn't return." I'm assuming I'm the first person to leave with the wrong product due to a communication problem and he wanted to insure that I understood fully not return, so he dosnt loose money on returning people's items :

Helpful staff, very large selection. I'd go back for the barber basics but the machines are on the pricey side. Good spot.

Wow...this store has everything you need for beauty supplies and also stocks some awesome men’s hair care products that you will not find in other stores. The manager Andy is knowledgeable about the products he has in stock and if you have any questions he is willing to answer. Prices are excellent and service is top notch. I definitely will be stopping by again in the future for any men’s hair care and grooming products. 11/20/19.... Back at Optima again and what more can I say...great selection of men’s grooming products and really competitive prices even compared to online stores. Stop by for all you beauty supply needs. Also the manager is saying they are having special promotions for Black Friday.

Great selection of products in the store. The staff is also very friendly and helpful when assistance was needed. Prices are also very competitive to any online retailer. Give them a visit and ask the man in glasses all the questions you have, he is super friendly!

Well I can say that is my first time walking in there they welcomed me in they let me stop they would not following me and I like that they had great customer service the girls always had a smile the very friendly and when I reach to the register I think that was the manager very great customer service from him to very friendly. And what I was looking for I found it never mention that finally walked into a beauty supply and found what I was looking for that's why I give them a five star

I’ve been coming to Optima for sooooo many years and it’s always an amazing experience. All the staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly. They offer great prices on all products. They always have everything I need in stock and if it’s not on the shelves, the staff can quickly find it in their back room. I can never go to any other beauty supply store cause none compare to Optima.
