Original Pocono Pub And Grill

Pocono Pub or OPP as it is affectionately called, is an excellent place for food and entertainment. Friday night's OPP houses a DJ who plays a variety of songs that will bring back some great memories as well as suit your newer taste. Saturday's you will find a local band playing and people dancing on the small dance floor. Friendly faces and welcoming locals and regulars are found here as well. There is a beautiful outside seating area for dining during the warmer months. I recommend any of the options for Mac and cheese or their award winning wings.

OMG!!! I have to say that I just love Pocono Pub!! Their food is amazing and the service is great. Everybody make you feel incredibly welcome and the waitresses are so charming and kind. To me Pocono pub is my favorite restaurant in Pocono. Really good prices and delicious food! If you go Pocono this Pub is definitely a must go!!

I wasn't expecting much when we parked in the parking lot. The outside of the building just looks like every other place, nothing special. We went on wing night and there was a live band. The band played at the perfect volume level so we could still talk but yet hear the band, and the band was really good. They played covers but with their own take on them and they were really good. The wait staff was really friendly and helpful when placing orders. Lots of drinks on tap and a few in the bottle. Now I'm not a wing guy but I do like them, the others in my party are wing people so they heard this place had good wings. They delivered! These are some of the best wings I've ever had and my friends said the same thing. Wings fried perfectly and the right amount of sauce. If you only go here for the wings and nothing else you will leave happy. They have about 10 different sauces, I had the garlic parmesan and it was really good, the others had the day special of a plum sauce and a peanut butter & jelly, both said they were good. I also ordered a chicken sandwich which had a lot of chicken on it and was really good, the bacon was a bit fatty and not so crispy but oh well. I would recommend this place for any food and it's got lots of larger tables for parties to meet and hangout. Wings are a must if you are in the area.

We stopped there for an early dinner. I had a BLT that was not good but edible. The bacon looked and tasted like it was from the breakfast hour. There was hardly any tomatoes on it and the bread was over toasted. I've eaten here before and liked the food but not this time. I guess the lesson here is don't order anything for dinner that has bacon on it. My wife really enjoyed her quesedias.

The wings are horrible... They're over-sauced and soggy, plus the cheese steak is made with ground beef. But the bar is clean, the service is great and the beer is cold. First impression overall, not bad but there's better out there.
