The dispatch operator (at least on 11/6/17; approx. 1pm) had NO ability to communicate. After repeatedly giving her my location (stating I was from out of town and looking for a nearby bus stop), she continued to give me landmarks that were unknown to me - which I reiterated over and over - and when she finally gave me a vague idea as to where I could catch the bus, I asked her, "How how much is the fare?" To which she replied, that she did not know what I was trying to say.
I stated it continuously, yet she was lost... She only understood, when I eventually ask her, "How much money do I need, so I can get on the bus?"
If the dispatchers cannot speak English, then how can the bus drivers drive a bus? I am currently WALKING to my destination, because she was unable to give me a location to catch the bus.

Is it possible to rate zero stars? It's baffling how this business stays in sevice. Over 40 minutes late on their scheduled stops on numerous occasions and many times the drivers will deviate from their routes (without any advance notice on their website- not even to the riders at that time). Good luck trying to call the business office. If you do get through to an actual person, you're transferred to voicemail without any return call. This is truly a very poorly operated public transportation "service" especially for this growing metropolitan area. You should not give ORT any of your money unless you want this very poor service to continue as it has for years now. Report them to the BBB and any review sites online and let's have some professionals in the region.

Lady running 490 said Springdale route like she was only doing Springdale which caused me to miss bus to Rogers. Need to say Springdale Rogers connection not just Springdale.

I got on the Ozark Regional transit bus today and asked if I could buy a 1 day pass for the bus. The driver asked me where I was going. I said excuse me, can I have my ticket? He responded by telling me that the bus was running late and I needed to sit down and shut up so that he could get on schedule.

Your bus driver, Sherry, has spent the last 2 days being extremely rude to all of her passengers. Not only has she been late on every route, she was obnoxious to anyone who questioned her about what time they'll make it to the mall. Yesterday passengers witnessed her berate a long-time regular old woman because she couldn't get her pass out quick enough for her at the Walmart, as she was late and wanted to catch 4 at the mall. Not only that, she was yelling at the disabled veteran with the red hair and cane who rides everyday to get his pass out or she refuses to move(eventhough the guy is a regular and was digging for his wallet). The lady went on this morning to berate a Walton College Administrator who rides the bus regularly, and was terse and rude to her for absolutely NO REASON other than that she was in a pissy mood. Sherry is incompetent, constantly late, RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS, berates long-time riders, misses stops(IE Yesterday she drover past Georges employment Center and drove all the way down Robinson, turned into a sub division and drove around for 5 minutes, finally coming out on Don Tyson and having to Double Back)
SHE NEEDS TO BE GONE. I've never had a bad thing to say about any driver for ORT until now. You can ask any of the long-time riders about how she's been treating us on her first days as a bus driver. SEND HER BACK TO PARATRANSIT OR FIRE HER.
I'LL REMOVE THIS POST ONCE YOU HAVE THE DECENCY TO DISCIPLINE HER OR MOVE HER TO A DIFFERENT ROUTE THAT DOESN'T HAVE VETERANS, UofA OFFICIALS OR LONG TIME RIDERS WHO EXPECT A MODICUM OF DECENCY FROM YOUR DRIVERS. THIS IS NOT LOOKING WELL FOR YOUR COMPANY JOEL.
