They have lots of cute furniture and decor items. However, everything in there is WAY overpriced. I saw this really cute cane cabinet that I would have snatched up if they weren’t charging $1,400 for it! I found the EXACT same cabinet online selling for just over $800! Quality doesn’t match the price tag.
Beautiful items and beautiful shop— however not very welcoming staff at all. Both staff were on their phones and eating on the sales floor, no “hi welcome, or hello!”. I got judge-mental stares when I tried to start conversation about a credenza on the floor. When you walk into antique stores or home stores, feeling at home makes the shopping experience more enjoyable.
I have been shopping here ever since I moved to Anchorage 9 years ago. They have stunning items and displays which have driven me to come back again and again and spend hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars here over the years. Despite, the beautiful displays, they unfortunately do not take the same pride in their people skills or customer service. Nor do they have any detectable degree of appreciation, gratitude, or mutual respect towards you as the customer. All the years I have shopped here, I have come across 2 friendly, welcoming, professional and helpful employees whom enhanced the experience. The rest of the time, there is this almost condescending attitude of superiority towards you as the customer like your money doesn't spend the same or like you are of lesser importance because you do not have affiliation with the owner who cares!. It is so bad that it completely diminishes the fun of going in there and leaves you as the customer feeling angry and in a worse mood than when you arrived. Today we had an item to exchange. One girl who helped us was very sweet, but when we asked for an additional sevice from her respectfully two individuals who worked there were across the register from us and immediately began clearly talking trash about us as the PAYING CUSTOMERS... the people who help this store to thrive. I just do not understand the bad attitude, levels of unprofessionalism, immaturity, and extremely poor customer service towards those who are helping to keep their doors open. It will certainly get me to think twice about coming back... which is so disappointing that such an aesthetically lovely place is ran so terribly.
Store was not what my husband 64 and I 62 were expecting, we were all set to buy antiques . We'd been looking forward to going for some time. This was the week before Christmas Upon our entrance not one time were we greeted or asked could we be helped. We were however, followed closelythroughout the lower half of the store. Not seeing ANYTHING worth the extraordinary high prices, we decided to leave, here again we were never acknowledged. Needless to say we won't be wasting our time there again.
This may be my favorite store in Anchorage. I love the seasonal changes, it smells amazing, and all of the gift items are unique. They carry Vera Bardley, Rifle Paper Co., and other trendy gift items. Their attention to detail adds a touch of class. I also, enjoy looking at the furniture that has been reclaimed or fixed. The antique piece are beautiful.
DODGY SALES TACTICS!!! Beware there are no refunds and returns are with a store credit only. Doesn't matter. You need to make sure you check over your purchase 100% and you need to be sure that you are 100% happy. They will not honor the sale, quality, or anything else. They might have nice stuff, but they lack customer service and have no idea what it takes to retain customers. I will not shop there any more. That was the last $ you will see from me.
Beautiful store with gorgeous items. However, feel not enough variation in prices, and some things seem overpriced to me. Also, while customer service is generally good, last time I was in, had a cool reception and did not feel welcome.
I could walk around in Ozarks forever. I absolutely love the vibe of the store, and they carry some of the best, most beautiful unique items. I'm addicted to spending my money here.
Love this place! Out of the ordinary and a pleasure to peruse.
Great little shop for some vintage gifts as well as handmade and local gifts. This shop has a boutique vibe which is very nice. Lovely store!
