Pad Thai Restaurant

Food was there really fast even though there were a lot of people in the place (about two free tables in the whole restaurant) and it was delicious! Their tofu is extremely tasty. Surprised I didn't find this place sooner.

We have been here many times. We don't go here to burn our mouths out from excessive spice, but a level 2 has enough heat to make me perspire. The egg rolls and spring rolls are great. We love the Gang Kha soup. The curry is great, and Drunken noodles too. Fast, friendly service always.

We have been consistent customers here for a few years now. And last night was the final straw for us. Over the last 4 visits our service has been terrible! Getting worse with each visit. Servers who ignore you, and who rush you. Last night 3/9/18 we were seated quickly. There were only 4 other tables with customers. After 10 minutes a bus boy/water filler rushed by, another minute later he forced water glasses down hard enough for some to spill, we said thank you, but he ignored us. Unfortunately there were no napkins or silverware so the water spill sat. We were going to wait for a server until we noticed that the servers were sitting at a booth talking, and two servers that were sweeping. Three servers looked in my direction as I raised my hand, but continued to talk with their co workers instead of helping. We decided to leave, and we were not surprised when not one of the 12 employees noticed or cared. Sorry Grand Thai, the food was good, the service used to matter, but now I will be giving my money to a place who gives a damn about customers.

Good food and good service. The spring rolls are highly recommend. We had dishes rated one pepper, but weren't very spicy. We easily could have gone for two.

First off, I will say the food was excellent and my suspicion is my experience here might not be normal. After we were seated and the server came by to take our order we had to track her down to get a booster seat for our 2 year old. She then came back one time to drop off our food. Other tables had their server check back with them multiple times. My wife then had to go find out server again when we wanted our water refilled and extra white rice. After we were done eating and I was stacking empty plates on our table our server walked by us multiple times without glancing at our table or stopping. Eventually I had to go find the to go boxes in order to pack up our food. Then after getting out coats on and our daughter dressed to leave we were stopped by our server to see if we were going to pay on our way out. Which was our plan. At this point we waited a few more minuted by the front door to have someone come ring us up. All in all the food was great but we had no service we might as well have eaten at our own house.
