King & I Thai

The entrees here are always lovely and delicious, and the portions are quite large. However, their prices are a bit higher than I am used to for Thai food. I honestly don't need a fancy setting to enjoy good food, but reasonable prices make me happier. But it's my mother in law's favorite place so we were there for her birthday. The service was great - for which I commend the server as my mil can be rather condescending toward wait staff. I have to admit that I have not had good luck with appetizers. The last time we were there we had something - I can't remember what - that was different from what I was used to, but mostly okay. This time we got the vegetarian egg rolls and they were just nasty. Among other things that made it unlike any egg roll I've ever had, there were chunks of green pepper in it! I have never eaten an egg roll - ever, of any type of Asian food - with green peppers. But other than that, they are usually very nice and the entrees are great - some fantastic pad thai and curries, so I will absolutely keep going there and trying different stuff.

Great food. Great service. Nice atmosphere. The Tom Yum soup is the best I've had anywhere!

The food is always great but tonight I just called in at 8:30 to put in a small take-out order and they said the kitchen was closed. This is our favorite local place for Thai food food so I'm really sad to see that they don't want business. If they can't take (take out) orders 35 minutes before closing they should let people know on the website. I'm very disappointed.

Went with two co-workers to try something new for lunch and we did not enjoy it. The prices are way more then other local places and their heat levels are all over the place. One of us ordered medium heat another ordered Thai hot. Both were Thai hot and my friend could not finish her meal she told the waitress and she just said "Well that's how it is." We will not be going back but will seek out other Thai spots.

Food is way over priced for rice and noodles. What a joke. Will not be coming back unless they change their price and better customer service.
