This is a great park! Most people I've run into are very kind and eager to help. Lots of hidden views and places to stop and take it all in - usually with a bench or at least a large rock to rest on so don't forget to bring that lunch basket or snack pack on your journey.

This Palisades Park has great geology. This is the best place to see the basalt in a columnar habit.
