A nice picnic area along the road of heavy traffic.It is a liitle bit noisy but it has all the facilites for a family picnic. The dam was recently rebuilt.

Great place to have a picnic where there are tables and grills available but, more importantly, it's a great place for a 2 mile hike on the blue mountain ridge where the trail starts just on the other side of the waterfall. One star off because there's quite a bit of broken glass and garbage on the lower section of the path near the falls, which is sad. We used to fish in the stream as a kid and there is one decent swimming hole which is quite busy on hot august weekends.

Start you hike from the pond, head south to the dam, cross the river under the dam and follow the river until the path heads SE towards RT 22, where you can stop off at McDonalds for a break. Back into the reservation and follow the path NE straight up the hill for some views of the 2nd Watching mountain and the quarry. Continue NE until you get to the scouts camp ground, then NW down the hill, through a pine forrest to meet up with a dirt road and SW back towards Seeley's pond carpark. Nice 60-90 minute hike.
