Palmetto Bar & Grill

We have been customers here for years probably ten or more. Things sure do change over time, used to when I went here I got plenty of food but here lately the last few times they skimp on the food. I want more than I can eat at these prices and we have not been getting that. Seems like their business is falling off and it is understandable. Food is good best fried food anywhere but I go to a place for quality and quantity and I used to get quantity here but not anymore. Smaller portions lately so I guess I won't go back anytime soon. Oh yeah owners know us by us coming in there so many years but they are not very nice at all very rude and they can't keep wait staff they change almost monthly.

Best flounder ever! Owners are great, Donnie and Vickie take great care in making sure your food is quickly served and always hot. Low key easy atmosphere!! No fuss, just great food and conversation!!

I love thisnplace. Only fish I eat. When they close at 10pm and u walk in to eat a little after 9 and they have shut down their grill. That's absolutely ridiculous. People work, how can u plan a dinner after work when the place u want to go, u never know when they r open. If they stay open till 10 they should serve till10pm, not 9.

Hole in the wall is a compliment for this place. The only thing good I can say is the wait staff is very friendly. The “Ribeye” for $17.00 was a minute steak! The salad that came with it was wilted iceberg lettuce with some tomatoes and cheese. Really sad. There are holes in several places in the carpet. The furnace was on full blast. Several customers were begging to have it turned off but were told “he” said no. Seafood platter was good, but not worth $25! We won’t be back.

Normally, there would have been a wait for customers arriving when we did, approximately 7:00. However, with Christmas upon us, we did not have to wait. Neither my friend nor I had been there for awhile so neither of us needed a menu, and we immediately ordered the jumbo shrimp with salt and pepper. It lived up to every memory we had of the great food at Palmetto Seafood. We are already looking forward to the next visit.
