Had some good experiences here then one horrible one that has ended my patronage. On a busy night me and 3 others arrived intending to buy a few bottles and enjoy; we sat for 30 minutes without being served. When one of us approached the bar they were out of the bottle we tried to order, told us to head back to our seats and someone would be with us shortly. We waited another 15 minutes with no one. We decided to quietly leave. As we waited for the elevator the doorman asked why we were leaving and if we enjoyed ourselves; we responded honestly with if we had been served it would have been more enjoyable. The man responded with “What a shame...where are you headed now? Ink and Ivy? Up on the Roof?” (Clearly he was more interested in where the competition is). We responded with “somewhere that will serve us”, and he had no response. I have worked in the food industry and customer service, a simple walk back to the table and getting our order was all we needed. Totally misdirected energy and lacking customer service quality in that one instance was enough for all 4 of us to choose actively to share this story with others as well as not return. “What a shame”

Went to Sip after Downtown Alive and had a wonderful experience. Bartenders were knowledgeable and very personal, A DJ was out on the rooftop deck spinning house music, which was a nice surprise. The atmosphere was perfect. This place is definitely a special treat for anyone wanting to spend time downtown and have a drink. Guys don't change a thing!

This is an amazing bar, really good choices when it comes to whiskey and bourbon, I had the 1792 single malt ant it didn't disappoint. You have a great view of downtown Greenville, which I loved because it is very vibrant and full of nice classy people ready to have a good time. Clean, safe, and plenty night life. Great times.

Stopped in at Sip for a first time following Friday night music in NOMA square. A small place, there was a private party going on outside that set the tone for a lackluster visit. I ordered a sangria, which tasted largely like juice. No fruit in it, which really should be part of any good sangria, and it was over-sweet. My husband ordered a Sip Old Fashioned, which the menu claims is a signature drink, and it, too, was off in taste and balance. In our experience, this isn't a craft bar for mature or discerning drinkers. Expensive and with a younger crowd, Sip on a Friday night surely has its place. It just isn't for us.

Has potential to be an even better spot. Host was friendly. Diverse age crowd. Wish it had a bar outside on the actual rooftop without having to go inside. Bathrooms are very small. Needs better live music, I guess the reason for no cover charge.
