Atmosphere and food are great together at this location. Inside seating available. So far, I've only had the fish sandwich delish. Lots of fresh items on the menu, made to order, not a long wait.
My first visit since the establishment changed names from Fast Gourmet. First thoughts, they no longer serve the empanadas, and those were the best, wish they'd come back. The Milanesa wasn't what I remembered, the steak on the sandwich I ordered was literally paper-thin and quite disappointing, as if they had breaded and fried Philly steak. I asked for no olives, it came with olives. And only two slices of hard boiled egg. Not worth $13. I should have ordered the burger. The fries were great. The service was friendly and fast.
This place isn't really a "hidden" gem anymore since it's known and renovated, but it's definitely a gem. I got the Al Pastor style pulled pork sandwich and it was absolutely dope, one of the best pulled porks I've had in the area if not the best. The tres leches cake was also delicious, and came in a plastic box - so you know it's good.
Had the Chivito sandwich, it was awesome. It is the most popular item. Very fresh roast beef, mozzeralla and red peppers. The sides were nothing special. Try to ignore the fact that the gas station location looks sketchy, food is worth a visit.
The menu is very nice. Almost considered a hole in the wall type of restaurant. Located in a gas station and it's not hard to find. Will definitely be eating here more often. If you're unable to make it here and you're in the area, definitely order them thru UberEats... THEY DELIVER!
Wow! Excellent steak and cheese sandwich and my lunch buddies were pleased with their fare as well. Accompanying french fries are better than most places. These leaned toward being a little crispy on the outside with that hot and soft center that makes fries a pleasure -- clearly fresh from the fryer. Panino is a Coke establishment. The fountain Diet-Coke, however, was bad. Flat and weak. As is my usual practice, I approached the friendly proprietor, told him the sandwich was terrific but that he would want to make some adjustment to the fountain Diet-Coke. He took a serious interest in my comment, and I had no doubt that he was going to attend to it that afternoon. He understood that a great sandwich and fries needs a fountain drink with the right balance of carbonation and syrup.
Great sandwiches. I had the Cuban. Make sure to ask for some jalapeño sauce on the side for your fries if you like spicy stuff.
5 for 1$ I where it's at ! Food is good and staff is really nice !
The French fries are too good, and the chili cheese fries are even better. The wait isn't too long and the service is quick. Great experience overall.
The space is bare, but it's a rare find to get good food at a gas station. The Cubano is a solid staple of there menu.
