We read reviews that said this is some of the best Greek food in Washington DC and we agree. In the photos you’ll see the spinach pie that my wife had. It was flaky, flavorful, and delicious. I had the pork souvlaki platter and it did not disappoint. Along with those two meals we also sampled the roasted corn which was very delicious and had a good spice on it, and the baklava which has a nice cinnamon flavor to it. It is a small restaurant where you order at an inside counter/takeout window and either eat on the patio or if you prefer to eat inside there is also a small dining area.
Good value of quality and portion for the price. I got the gyro platter and asked for no pasta; they offered a substitute which I really appreciate! It was so delicious - will be back for quick and fantastic take out!
Been wanting some really good Greek food and this place hit the spot. I got a falafel pita and hummus with pita. Pleasantly surprised. Great neighborhood hangout. Easy to get to. Will certainly return.
The food is very good. We enjoyed our food. They just need to renovate the place, the chairs were rusty but over all it was very good. Food: 5/5
We ordered 2 gyros & 2 Cokes & 1 friesh and paid 33.00$ There food is really good and we couldn’t finish our fries
Went here with a friend because we wanted some Greek food. A cozy place right off of U St. We both had the gyro platter. Had a generous, very generous portion of Greek salad, orzo, pita, gyro. It was very tasty and we will be back for the price and portion size. I'm happy to give this place my business.
Look at all this salt they dumped on my fries just because I ask them to put extra seasoning on my fries when I order them. Bcuz they never put enuff. They dumped so much salt on my fries they're unedible. I saw the lady when she initially put the seasoning on. Then she took it to the girl at the register. I saw her shrug and laugh. Then the lady went back to the deep frier with the bag of fries. But I couldn't see her bcuz people were at the counter ordering. But this is what I ended up with.
Had the Gyro. it was fat and absolutely delicious. when i think of a go-to spot...this is it. make it happen, you won't be disappointed. I did forget my drink though cause i was so stoked for the food - so...don't be a moron like me and remember to grab your beverage!
Been craving a lamb/beef gyro and after hearing many good reviews about this spot I gave it a try today. All things considered with this quarantine going on I had to take out the food which was simply delicious! Great portion of meat in the gyro platter, and the fries and salad were delicious. Tzatziki sauce is homemade and light and a compliment to the meat, pita and salad. Side note you must try that soda Mash which does not have a lot of sugar AND the baklava.
This gem is absolutely amazing. Chill family environment food AMAZING! I had a gyro and season corn on the cob. Will be back again
