The Brixton

I came here for brunch today for the first time and it was amazing, highly recommend it! We got the banana waffles with fried chicken and it was delicious!! The food was very fresh and tasted homemade. We were able to be seated on the rooftop and have brunch with a beautiful view. The service was great and everyone was so kind, definitely a really nice spot to check out for brunch!

Ahhhhh finally made it to Brixton!!! I've heard Tom's about this place but just never went. Upon arriving our IDs were checked and we proceeded to sit down at the tables in front of the bar. In order to get food or drinks you have to go to the bar for service. That's always a nice touch for me because its just straight to the point. We ordered a tall boy Tecate $4 And 2 Angry Orchard Rosé $5 both of these are on happy hour. The drink specials are really sweet $2 off all draft beers and they gave a good selection. For food we ordered the Vietnamese brats one beef and one vegan and the tropical brat as well. The toppings were delightful!!! Omg I never would have thought to out carrots, salsa, avocado, etc... On a brat but it works. The experience was seem less and we were able to make it to out show at the 9:30 club as well. P.S if you have 9:30 club tickets then your happy hour is extended nice touch

So this review is based on what Brixton was before covid and what is has become. It was a fun party bar. It has rebranded itself into another DC spot with mediocre food and a boring atmosphere. There used to be a line around the building on Saturday night. Now, it looks like this death. The rebranded themselves out of business. Raise your prices but keep getting money.

I like this spot a lot. I gave it 3 Stars only because how they now do the entry. If you were already on the roof top floor and come down to the 2nd floor for a drink you have to wait in line all over again to get back up. It used to be on the first floor and It needs to go back to that. I even had a card open upstairs he I still had to wait. This system is not good for great customer service. Other than that the drinks and music is on POINT

I really like the food, drinks and vibe here at The Brixton. The curry chicken samosas were really good and so was the spinach and crab dip!

Cool place to go dance and have a few drinks. The DJ seemed a little hit it miss with his song selection though. Loved the rooftop!

The rooftop has a great view with a nice vibe. The chicken tenders however, are extra crispy. Nice place to go for happy hour.

Went in on a Sunday and the music was great, the rooftop bar was pretty lit. I enjoyed my time with my friends. Def would recommend.

The venue is nice. It is a good size and has a vintage look that is appealing. There is a large rooftop with an out door area that would be fabulous to enjoy in the summer. There are two bars on the rooftop as well. The drinks are pretty good, a little small though. The bartenders weren't too friendly and hardly spoke but they were fast.
