Love this place for the subs! And if you didn’t know, they have a speakeasy in the back. Great place for lunch and a nightcap. They also sell adult beverages to go!Food: 5/5
My food was amazing! My Judy and I drove an hour and a half to get to this deli, and it was so worth that drive. There was not a line to get in. The inside appears small, yet there is a whole club, bar, and sitting area inside to the rear. The deli was very clean, and everything was organized. We were greeted with a warm welcome, and the cashier assisted us in ordering as I'm sure she could tell it was our first visit. She was patient and very kind. I showed her a photograph that I saw on social media, which is what caused me to make that drive. She knew exactly what the sandwich was and began explaining everything that was included. I was soooooo pleased with my visit. The sandwich looked exactly as pictured and tasted even better. I would totally make that drive again to taste all that goodness!
The sandwich was fine, but I was not a fan of the DJ. He only played the chorus of many songs, and really killed the mood when we were getting into the song! I don’t fault the deli for this though, as I’m glad they offer a speakeasy/dance floor at all. Overall, we still had a good time but did not stay on the dance floor for very long.Food: 3/5
The blatant racism directed towards BLACK WOMEN is deeply disturbing and completely intolerable. My friend, visiting from NYC, and I simply wanted to enjoy a strawberry Lemon drop at a local bar. However, the manager's shockingly rude response, putting his hand in our faces and promptly kicking us out, left us not just confused, but profoundly disheartened. As a public servant and a dedicated police officer in DC, it's disheartening to encounter such discrimination, and I refuse to stay silent about it..
Usually love capo so I’ll still give them 5 stars. But this recent buffalo chicken sandwich is so skimpyFood: 5/5
I used to love their sandwiches back in 2018ish… I think their quality has gone down since then. I agree with what other said about the meat being on the skimpy side, especially for a $14 6 in sandwich. I got the chicken fontina. On top that, there were several pieces of chicken in the sandwich that were rock solid that I didn’t eat. I don’t think I’ll be returning for food! Bummer!
Drinks are a little pricey but the vibe and DJ are always awesome! I’ve been there on regular nights and on private events and always had a great time!Service: 5/5
You know a sandwich shop is dope when you can eat the sandwich in bed the next morning and it’s just as good. I’m not recommending you go to Capo, have drinks in their speakeasy behind the fridge, order a sandwich on your way home, fall asleep before eating, then enjoying it for breakfast. I’m just saying that if that did happen, you would still be impressed with the quality of the sandwich.
We hosted a black-tie wedding welcome party at this venue, and it was exceptional! Rohit, the owner, was incredibly professional and made everything run smoothly. The venue itself is unique, and our guests were thoroughly impressed by its charm. Rohit’s warm and accommodating nature, combined with the venue’s standout service, made our event truly memorable. Highly recommended!
Great bar! Super cool entrance, relaxed vibe and solid drinks! I loved the energy there. We got here around 9 and there were plenty of seats, it was dark and intimate, and the music was perfect. The bartenders are on their craft! Mine re-did my drink after tasting which is something you don’t always see and probably because he had time since there weren’t tons of people there. I loved the drink! And it was great to have a chill spot to hang with friends and hear what they were saying! Need to come back for an Italian sub though!
