Although Paper Source is a chain store and internet retailer it has the vibe of a little paper boutique. If you want an alternative to Hallmark, this place has plenty of quirky cards for any occasion. They also stock lots of fun gift items along with some crafting materials and supplies. Worth a browse.

Staff not too friendly/knowledgeable, my impression is high turnover due to low wages...the papers are fantastic, pricey. Great gifty things in addition to arts and crafts supplies. Pay your workers better wages!

Even though it's mostly a paper store for making your own stuff, this is my go-to card store. It's convenient to stop at on the Red Line Porter stop. The staff are always nice here and at any location. The only annoying thing is that they try to get you on their mailing list.
